Hi IT gurus out there,

i need some help what to do with Unifi, my friend stays in 20+ floor.
While not surfing and ping -t 192.168.0.1 is really smooth and 1-20ms ping.

but when play dota, other online games the ping ms speed will fluctuate up and down. 100ms -3000ms +-
and no connection reply for few secs and resumed back, vice versa.

I 've done the port forward 6112-6119 but only port 6112 get activated when i test port open.
what is wrong ah?

pls advise  flex.gif

Some questions :-

1. Play games slow ?
2. Surf internet slow ?
3. Stream video/music slow ?
4. Router's location, which floor ?
5. PC connected using cable or wireless ?
6. The meaning of your friend stays at 20+ floor, are you saying you're helping your friend troubleshooting ?
7. Is the Unifi installed with direct fiber cable into the house ?

All questions counts, answer all before I can provide further assistance.

1. Play games slow ? NO
2. Surf internet slow ? NO
3. Stream video/music slow ? NO
4. Router's location, which floor ? 1st floor of the three floors building
5. PC connected using cable or wireless ? pc with cable, laptop with wireless. both having issue
7. Is the Unifi installed with direct fiber cable into the house ? there is a white box at the ground floor of the building which i believe came from outside connection (fo). then from the box to 1st floor using fo cable (smaller white one)

OK... thanks, suspect the FO isn't fused correctly. Might have some kind of dust/dirt during the fusion process.

Call TM Unifi line, if they say connection is always connected then request them to check the FO cable.
