Yes, I agree that the bounce on expensive tables are different than casual tables. To sum things up, better tables are thicker and it also weighs a lot more approximately around 140+kg.

I assume you were at PJUnion on Wednesday cos I don't recall seeing Uncle Wong on Monday.. Weekend's starting early for me, on leave tomorrow wink.gif

Hi pj_guitarist,

The nearest to Cyber or Putrajaya would either be Tenryu in Subang USJ21 or Puchong right across IOI mall (Star Elite). May I ask what you're looking for?
*
kinda starting to seriously play hardcore tt at workplace, i purchased my custom stiga with yasaka and xiom rubbers from a dealer who was kind enough to assemble and cod for me last time, after 2 years and loaning to frens at workplace I'm sad of the state its in now. I think I just wanna survey the shops to browse around and see how it is now, I like moderately heavy pedals and tacky rubbers, shakehold and aggresive attacking. ( when i was school rep my weapon of choice is nittaku typhoon, storm and 3 star, i'd buy them in heartbeat if they are being sold now.)

Let's share our equipment guys, it's been a while since I posted in this thread haha, what's your current setup? I lost my stiga clipper cr , rakza 7 fh and xiom Vega pro bh. But temporarily using a retarded setup hahah. It's yin he ayous j1 both fh and BH ritc 729 08. Definitely doesn't suit my offensive style after a week trial.

I left it in my office for a while, and like few days later it's gone. So no more borrowing my blades next time, I'll be using it and keeping it straight after playing from now on

Hi, Why are ping pong bats soo bloody expensive nowadays? Doesn't look much different from the ones I bought at uncle's stationary store in my teens.

I know shitty players always blame the bat 😂
*
haha i remembered in my primary school there's a brand champion bat for 5 rm super tacky rubbers on them, weight is damn nice, but within 3 months the rubber will peel off, especially we all play during recess everyday. I remembered finally buying nittaku typhoon and get 3rd place in school. premade bats nowadays sucks. all rubber dead, even if u buy timo boll series, harden rubber, hard to practice looping and all.

btw, new proper equipments, the yinhe ayous single ply i use is so shitty compared to these haha. dhs hurricane neo 3 fh , nittaku fastarc s1 bh. off setup, slower than clipper or primorac carbon , but very good precision play with speed.

wow...
you must be a looper..
how much is the blade.
*
actually right nittaku blades depreciates after second hand, try find used blades for nittaku, unlike butterfly which retains its value much more. I advice u find nittaku used blades on forums. Ludeack fleet is easily one of the best nittaku had to offer, the other two i might look at is probably barwell fleet or acoustic carbon (for modern looping and speed game) for all wood there's violin and acoustic.

on price concern ludeack fleet first hand is above 400 but like i said try find second hand if you could.

I think i will stay with this setup for quite a while, this combo is superb, only have to adjust my bh as it is super bouncy and fast, im thinking of buying adidas rubbers since its cheap now, ill use my omega for a bit until ill find a bat to transfer the omega and find better setups for the viscaria.

donic bluefire m2 for looping, flicks underspin are easy with backhand on a carbon blade

DONIC’s new Bluefire is a completely new rubber development offering top speed. A new high-tech generation of rubbers in the proven Formula FD3-technology has been developed as a result of the perfect combination of the large pored blue sponge with an extremely spinny top surface rubber. 😵The top rubber with its small, long pimpled-in structure lends the rubber the best possible flexibility and sensational feeling. Above all, the Bluefire is unbelievably fast with a characteristic high arc when top-spinning that enables maximum spin and increased speed.

I bought the adidas rubbers, but its too fast on my level now, so im sticking with xiom omega 4 now, and it helped me developed better game, probably will stick with xiom rubbers for now.

Hi all,

I am Jimmy, staying in Klang.

I am able to travel to Shah Alam or Puchong or Cyberjaya to play ping pong.

Anyway I just a beginner. However, I believe my experience in badminton may help me to learn ping pong fast.

Regards
Jimmy
