QUOTE(tom6tom6 @ Oct 1 2016, 12:01 PM) I just registered this community web-site as a new member. I am Japanese, live in Desa Parkcity nearby Kepong and love to play Table Tennis. I purchased Nittaku RUTIS J (Chinese Pen with Cork) around RM350 with Nittaku Fastarc P-1 (Max Red) for FH and Zalt (1.5mm Black) for BH, totally paid about RM600 at TT shop in KL two months ago. I will like to sell it RM300 with rubbers. It looks close to new cause I played it less than 10 hours. If you have an interest to buy it, please leave message to me. Thanks / TOM You may want to show us some photos? |

QUOTE(Matrad22 @ Oct 20 2016, 08:27 AM) You didn't come to KSL last Wed? We opened 3 tables.QUOTE(jim_jim @ Oct 25 2016, 01:20 PM) donic bluefire m2 for looping, flicks underspin are easy with backhand on a carbon blade Donic M2 is great for generating spin but I'm not used to it on my FH. I just started using Yasaka Rakza 7 soft on my BH. I loved it. By the way, I am using penhold.DONIC’s new Bluefire is a completely new rubber development offering top speed. A new high-tech generation of rubbers in the proven Formula FD3-technology has been developed as a result of the perfect combination of the large pored blue sponge with an extremely spinny top surface rubber. 😵The top rubber with its small, long pimpled-in structure lends the rubber the best possible flexibility and sensational feeling. Above all, the Bluefire is unbelievably fast with a characteristic high arc when top-spinning that enables maximum spin and increased speed. QUOTE(pj_guitarist @ Oct 26 2016, 09:16 PM) putrajaya precinct 9 has lots of good players. |

The blade on the left is my regular blade, YinHe DK4. The right one is the new blade YinHe D-705. D-705 is lighter, thinner and has more feel than my regular DK4.
I put both side of rubber because I'm using reverse penhold backhand. D-705 is new. Go to taobao and look for yaosir. Only they sell. Attached thumbnail(s) |

It was for the first time China didn't field any of their penhold players in Olympic. Good to see more upcoming players using penhold and RPB.

I am practicing RPB since I picked up TT about 2 years ago. Can see the result already but using RPB in game is a different thing altogether.
Last night, I was playing with a friend with better skill at Forum 19 from 9pm-11pm. A solid 2 hour training. Just the 2 of us. This post has been edited by szewooi2001: Nov 4 2016, 11:30 AM |

My small TT group, all novice players except one will have a small TT tournament at KSL Puchong, this Sunday 8pm. Registration is closed unfortunately. I am hopeful that one day we will have a TT tournament for lowyat forumers (no current state, ex-state or current national, ex-national players) soon.

Yes, Wang Hao is still the king of RPB.
1 hour FH from slow pace to quick and hitting hard. Ending with continuous FH spin while the other party block and return. The continuous FH spin took a toll on me. 30 min of BH, again from slow to fast pace. Then, the rest we practice serves and 3rd ball attack with BH spin. I had a few times having the opportunity to have this level of training, a pure 2 hour training with another player. Yesterday's session was really good. QUOTE(jim_jim @ Nov 4 2016, 03:09 PM) This tutorial is quite advance. I am only starting to practice to hit the spot consistently i.e. consistently serves to baseline long serves and consistently to have 2 bounds on the table when creating short serves for all kinds of spins. The consistency and accuracy is very important. Add more power, consistency and accuracy will go hay wire again. Then, add footwork, all go kelam kabut.... hahaha |
