haha just bought it this afternoon, my very first android and smartphone

there are so many things i don't know.. i've been playing with my phone and i wanna confirm this does the camera have zoom? Cause it tells me i don't have zoom

i m using camera 360 ultimate it tells me my phone has no zoom...

if i root my phone and make changes
by uninstalling and insyallin rooted apps do i have to undo all this if i m claiming warranty? Just curious not that my phone needs to claim warranty now

i just rooted my phone haven't done anything yet but planning to remove bloatwares and install rooted apps however anyone tried ROM Manager? Can S+ backup stock ROM using ROM manager?

Haven't receive such problems before but like a pc auto restart could signify faulty hardware.

Tried to upgrade to 2.3.6 today and discovered I can't enter download mode with Volume Down + Home + Power, it just boot the phone like normal or sometimes show "Samsung" and then shuts down. Is this what the term soft brick meant?

Managed to enter download mode after factory reset and I'm now using 2.3.6

I just flashed CM9, how long is it supposed to take on first boot? I've been looking at this blue droid boot page for so long.

I reflashed and it boots now looks awesome but wifi signal is kinda weak.
