hello..help me!!...
im just get 2nd hand phone of s+...want to try root this phone but the problem is i cannot connect with pc via storage mass...update firmware using kies also cannot complete...
so how to root it?is there any prob with the firmware coz i dont know whether last owner already done or not...but i already do the factory reset to clear the previous data/memory..
please help n guide me..thanks

btw anyone can tell me in simple word what diffrence firmware version,baseband version, kernel version? sory really noob here...thanks


mine : firmware version - 2.3.3
baseband version - I9001DXKG1
kernel version - 2.6.35.7-perf root@DELL88#1
