Review Nitrox Ehndroix

After using this ROM for 4 days,

1. my battery was superb last for 2 days few hours plus with some Wifi n 3G using Ehndroix Ver 12.8.15 based on Arco68's CM9  

2. feel super smooth and The lag is pretty much non existent so far (Cpu set min 345mhz On Demand gov)

3. No bug present at the moment till now

4. Deep Sleep function working and kicks in so the battery can lasts longer from what i'm expected (check tihs using Cpu Spy)
When i flash new version Ehndroix Ver 12.8.17 based on ivendor's Beta 2 CM9 NOT Arco68's CM9

1. Deep Sleep not Working for 3 hours battery drop 6%  (check using Cpu Spy phone dosent sleep but on wake)
So i rolled back to Ehndroix 12.8.15 right now...   

i think my battery drain kinda high when on 3G or wifi, other than that not much problem with it.

Dun get those phones anymore. S advance, ace plus. all the extra plus from old models. all so fast drop support from samsung. sux! get a nexus. only 1100. even s2 is 1300 only.
S2 dun buy coz its G version. i am backing nexus! i wanna change but no budget. ><

Nexus wil have google support for a very very long time. 2nd is no touchwiz!! pure google!

Better just wait for this year nexus. Perhaps will be even better.

Im guessing yes. Every year they release new flagship phone. Last year was nexus so later this year should have another release.

from xda, it seem this rom got GPS problem. anyone can cofitm this?

i'm using ehndroix 12.8.15 base on Arco68 CM9 .... mine GPS working quite well..no prob i think...
Google maps, Foursquare lock under 2-3 seconds and Waze Gps under 10 seconds...slightly jumpy around but acceptable...

Bear in minds that Ehndroix 12.8.15 are base on Arco's build and version 12.8.17/12.8.21 base on ivendor beta 2&beta 3

i dont know about others using this ROM...i actually like on Arco's build so i'll stick this at moment...   

my battery usage still kinda high compare to using GB.

never mind, sacrifice battery for smoothness 

totally different feel from GB, like having a new phone.

flash to 12.8.15 last nite, wipe the battery stats and underclock to 1024

from 7am till now still got 80%

some phone calls and texting and data, use my phone alot for work so can't have high battery drain as i dun sit at a place to work.

Is there any way to remove the pesky "Easy Task Killer'on ehndroix  12.8.21?

flashed EhndroiX 12.8.24 today. is it only me or what, the browser shows only a white page for every website. and how can i retrieve the contacts in my sim card? must sync to google account?

is the sim card import option in the call settings? rebooted still dont see it.

i'm using ehndroix perfectly fine no terrible lag... maybe you didnt set cpu min 368mhz/gov ondemand....

Yes. I do not set to 368mhz.
But I notice the memory usage also quite high.

Which build you use? You flash any other custom rom?

strange,im experiencing lags too,eventhough set cpu min 368mhz/gov ondemand

I'm using 12.8.24 experienced some lags too. Especially when playing with the camera. As for the battery deep sleep is working but it can only last for about one day with moderate usage.

mine doesnt have smartassv2  ,have to flash latest version?

guys i still experienced status 7 error even after i flash stock rom. any of you mind to PM me how you do it step by step from a stock rom and the the needed? sobs

For those who want to start from Stock ROM: :
Flash Stock ROM via Odin (the latest version recommended) - i flash stock using odin
Flash Recovery CWM by Odin - flash cwm5 using odin
Wipe Data
Wipe Dalvik Cache
Flash EhndroiX
Flash ROM - what does this mean?
Restart

Coming from a Stock Samsung ROM Gingerbread 2.3.5/2.3.6:

    Flash Recovery CWM by Odin (I use TWRP)
    Wipe Data
    Wipe Dalvik Cache
    Flash EhndroiX
    Restart

I am now using EhndroiX 12.8.28.

@zaxxshoxx - i have the same problem as urs. Try this method.

1. Download Endroix again and try with CWM 5.
2. If cannot work, download TWRP 2.2.1

Flash TWRP, advanced mode for CWM.

3. Flash TWRP and go to advanced and reboot recovery.
4. In the TWRP recovery, install Endroix.

I envy your success, just updated to the latest stock rom 2.3.6. I already download BroodRom 1.2 Business Edition, but dont know which one to install, CM5 is better or BroodROM???

did you guys turn off some of the settings like haptic, brightness , animation dll in order to kept the battery at the very best or just let all on ?

for those who using Ehndroix, how long is you bat last?

is the 12.8.28 using OC/UV kernel?

i'm still on 12.8.15

lol samsung definitely won't be my next phone too. google phone all the way!
