As title suggest, I wanna check if anyone uses the HD6770 or 5770 for your BF3. Because I'm most probably getting it and I just want some first hand reviews on it, please do state your spec, graphic setting and achievable framerate. thanks smile.gif

Is it BF3 itself or your GC that makes it no fun?

no la... 1080p ultra need SLI/crossfire card la... single card cant handle ultra unless u enjoy watching slide show. 6950 can get all high detail/effects.

what's your problem with your eyes mate?
im not using 1080p
its 720p
since 1366x768
and that is incorrect either
you can achieve Ultra in 1080p with single of GTX580 or HD6970
but with minor change in settings except terrain details
the problem lies with VRAM required for Ultra in any resolution but HD6950 have 2GB VRAM so it won't be a problem

5870 is better than 6770. 5870 still able to beat 6970 performance on some games.

The card is really worth it and might be able to play games for the next 2 or 3 years. If you could get ur hands on a second-hand card like me, it'll be totally worth it. Bought mine for RM250.

5870mobile =/= 5870 in terms of performance.
But yes 5870 is wonderful card n its very rare now.

Before i bought my 6790, i aimed 5870 but at that time i short rm50 so settle down with 6790 instead.

If only i didnt sell my previous card early at that time i would wait till i get that rm50 lol...

5870 Mobility is only for laptops, and its performance is slightly underclocked compared to 5770.

In short, if i can run it, you can run it too.

He's referring to the 5870M.

And nop, 5870M is NOT better than the 6770. In fact, they belong to the same tier.
