YO, after watching my new t36 55" hisense ledBL tv, its awesome !! i try to watch my snsd live 1080i show with given build in tv media player.. it's fantastic !! but the sad thing is, it cant play mkv file T.T

For astro channel, becoz of SD signal, its look enlarge and blur compare to old crt tv, but if you seat around 6-7尺 distance from tv, its look clear and the word inside the program channel are outstanding(what i mean is clear than image)

I tried the mkv file Jan this year on the older generation 40" T28 series HiSense LED backlight LCD TV. It can play well but I wonder why yours can't play.. I tested at Courts before before I actually decided to go with Samsung C5000 series as the price different by RM200 only after the offer..

For Astro viewing, get Byond bro...Superpack package is really cheap now and it includes HD... u won't regret it

btw - do consider bluray player that has media player capabilities...better than just a media player coz u might wanna try blu ray sometime

for mkv playability on a bluray player...you can't go wrong with LG c550 or samsung c5500 ... lotsa review here

and congrats to your hisense purchase!
awesome cheap stuff, rite?

Hisense brand is good as i am using their LED TV sinc ei was in China i also use most of their product but i was surprice here was much cheaper compare in china as their company/ factory have 40 years good record at Shandong, China. Good choice.. as their 3D LED TV smart TV is also good buy.. most format works just like LG LM 7600 model.. other 3D brand please test before buying it cos most format will not work if you download from the web 3D Movies . I have tested only thsie Hisense and LG works .. perfect as my choise.. of 3D smart TV... Hisence is more much cheaper.. if you can't effort buy LG... Never buy 3D Led work with battery with glasses... cos is flicking.... and bad for eye and brains.. LG good choice ...I very happy with my LG so as my Hisense LED smart TV.. Just LG Led cannot plat RMVB but Hisesence worls all format...

Samsung 3D sucks.... if not 3D or smartTV you should go for Sharp 4 Colors (Red, Blue.Green and Yellow) onlt this sharp Led only have 4 colors compare otehr do not have 4 colors tone ... Hisence LED smart3D is a very good choice and even cheap.... never regrading buy it.... ..

they got factories in Australia where they tie up with Hitachi for their technology. Televisions sold in Malaysia have 2 types.

1 with the mandarin menu which are obviously made in china and the other ones which dont have mandarin language menu which panels are made in australia and meant for the european market.

JVC and Hitachi is japon brand.

Hisense, is China brand. Most tech from china is "borrowed" or even copied from some where.

Its functional, its not great its not bad either. The only good is the price. I would not but it if they are priced same like other well known brands.

valur for money brand

but if you have more $$$ - go buy branded.

still branded or china - both still sometimes have manufacturing defects - so try to get extended warranty since TV is meant for long time usage
