Where's a good place to get a Tag around KL/Malaysia? Or izzit better to get it outside of Malaysia?
And around MYR 3k, can I get a decent Tag or do I need to dig deeper?
Thanks

QUOTE(David83 @ Apr 21 2012, 08:29 AM) As I said, I'm merely asking how much I need to dig into, before deciding anything.Watches are harder to survey anyways, since there is no catalog for it unlike hardware parts. Even so, what other brand/watch I can get for MYR 3k n above? Some insight would be useful. |

Besides Tag, what other branded watch can get at the range of 3k+?
No problem spending more, just checking out options before splurging on something Casual usage, day to day use. Metal bracelet preferred due to extreme way of life =,= No special preference to the size, function or whatever. Do prefer to have date and chronograph if possible Thanks for the guidance This post has been edited by chiahau: Apr 21 2012, 11:32 AM |

QUOTE(Orias @ May 1 2012, 08:36 PM) hi guys, http://www.ebay.com/itm/Luminox-Blackout-F...6#ht_2173wt_905this is my 1st post ever here. i'm aiming to get a tissot or oris or even a tag heuer (if possible) with that budget. wud it be sufficient? and as i'll be using it daily, i'd prefer the strap to not be made of leather. daily usage wud make it smell and break after 2-3 yrs time, rite? rubber (is it? XD) strap wud be good. i'm not really into steel straps as well (not sure if this is the right term too. correct me pls if i'm wrong btw here r some watches that caught my attention. not sure if it's within my price range though. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « can u guys recommend me some good watches for my daily use (within the 1.5k-2.5k range)? preferably sapphire crystal or better as i'm quite rough and i might damage the watch surface easily. Within your budget, dunno you like it or not. Gonna get this one soon, anyways. |

QUOTE(dwin95 @ May 8 2012, 03:14 PM) will do.. thank you so much! If you are a watch enthusiast, its quite easy for you to notice.BTW, quick question, I never really seen a fake rolex - tag before. Not those rm40 - 50 ones, those fakes that cost rm300-500.. They say the quality is quite good and comparable to japan made watches. Is that true? If yes then its hard to notice d.. Authentic Tags and fake ones can be differentiated.. |

QUOTE(dwin95 @ May 8 2012, 06:45 PM) I went around and did a little research and the so called AAA rolexes has something called swiss grade 1 ETA. Damn.. is there anyway a amateur can spot the AAA rolex without opening the casing? My theory is simple, If i can't afford a authentic Rollie, I wont even buy it.What's the point of buying grade AAA Rollie and pretend that it's ori? Some AAA ones can be very close to the real model, but so far, my community of people have yet to start buying AAA Rollie or Tags la.. Can't really answer you on that one. Maybe an Enthusiast can differentiate and a noobie/amateur can't. |

QUOTE(sniper on the roof @ Sep 18 2012, 01:08 PM) LE = Limited Edition. Birkin still quite exclusive patryn33's saying that Panerai is supporting resale value by having limited editions/ controlling output but in the long run may not help. Kinda like what Hermes is doing with their Birkin. There's a long Q for it anyways, even if you can afford it haha. Kinda liking this Ball & Ross, quite different than than the usual watches I am seeing recently Credit to the owner of the photo - » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « This post has been edited by chiahau: Sep 18 2012, 07:44 PM |

I was offered around 10k for this haha.
Still thinking since 10k is not a small sum, plus when you are exposed to 5 digit budgets, you can always get some awesome watch like Zenith and etc too |

QUOTE(yonggoh @ Sep 19 2012, 02:38 PM) ahhh i had the exact same B&R Phantom Watch from my own collection for sale a couple months ago for quite a bit less than the Retail price... I saw actually. Was sorely tempted, to be very honest. But I was looking for a Zenith back then Now due to financial crisis, not buying anything yet. Later the Finance Minister will rage. |
