Interesting to see the bulk of Swiss watches going to the HK market. The Chinese must be spending millions on watches there.

i heard omega has so much faith in their movement that they gave buyers a 4 year warranty on a new watch.
I recall reading that Sir George Daniels 1st 2 prototype watches (Rolex and Patek Philippe) fitted with Co-Axial escapement was not service for over 15yrs.

an old news

Plan to get an Omega Seamaster and this will be a 10yrs watch for me. What size should I get? 12 yrs ago i got a Tag Aquaracer and it's out of fashion (small dail) now. If I get the 45mm big dail, will it be out of fashion later?

IS THERE A STANDARD EVERGREEN SIZE?

hard to predict 30-40yrs down the road.
your 12yr Tag is at what size?

some brands today are going back to smaller and thinner size for the Chinese.
older rich chinese don't wear those 45mm watches. They love their suit and tie.
their kids that don't make money do, but I doubt many daddy will get them a neat PP or VP tourbillion or min repeater.

It's close to the US list price of USD 4900 depending on the exchange rate used.

well its ~US$5100 based on today's rate. just US$200 off. just work out the math to right conversion.
