Hi there, keen to buy one. but I find it quite troublesome to put and remove the unit everytime I start or end a journey. I would love to leave the unit inside the car, but I am afraid that it will be then be a thieve magnet. Any idea?

Don't worry bro, compare the Car DVR vs your audio player in your car the theft will choose the car audio system instead. On the other hand the thieve will be more worry if there is camera inside your car.

thanks for your reply. but, my friend's car window got smashed and the only thing that the thieve took was his SMART TAG, attached to the windshield. that worries me, alot.

I understood your concern. The thief target the SMART TAG because they know how to resell the smart tag. As mentioned earlier, the thief are also measure the risk against the value, if the thing they grep could resell easily or got high resell value then they will take the risk to do anything to get the thing. But if the item such as Car DVR where they dunno how to sell and how much could resell, then they will not attempt. Especially when they see something looks like camera.
