Minimum of 1000km or 1600km(1000miles)... This need to follow manual.. But have option of hard break-in, i did this on my bike, n now my bike drinks much more fuel compared with the same bike but with manual's recommendation on break-in.. N a bit better performance acceleratn n top speed... But, back to ur question, it will always perform better once past around 3000km...

oic, hard break-in is mean that I drove more than 90km/h mean hard break-in? I usually drive 100-120km on highways tongue.gif

Not just go over 90kmh during breakin period, but floored the accelerator pedal evry time... redline etc... Tried on my bike, n now it drinks more fuel, but performance wise i think its better... But dare not do it on my myvi because im plannig to use this car for quite long.. So, reliability is my main concern.. Bike nevermind, cuz target to upgrade as fast as possible, so need to brush-up skill faster than to sayang2 the mechanicals..  hmm.gif

I never floored the pedal before, most high I rev before just 4.5k, mostly i drive my car with the word "handle with care, it's fragile " XD plus also the breaks make me not so confident to drive fast, need to press quite deep to break the car rclxub.gif not like my old 1st gen myvi can break with confident brows.gif
