Does the Byond Decoder (non-PVR) works with the old Silver dish ?

Most probably not possible to support HD channels.

Yup, the HD quality got nothin to do with ur dish size or color. It depends on your decoder ability. As long as the dish can catch the signal the decoder will work just fine.

AFAIK, the size and the colour of the dish. its function is the same 
maybe the bigger sized byond dish means less service interruptions? 

ALIGNMENT OF DISH MATTERS A LOT TO RECIVE HD CHANNELS,A RELIGHNMENT MAY BE NEEDED IF U STILL CANNOT GET HD RECEPTION.BTW NO HD SUBSCRIPTION NO HD PORT !

hey guys,

Some of the channels are somewhat 'having bad signal recipient'. Channels affected so far are 102, 103, 104, 107, 119, 615 and 710. These are the heavily affected. The pictures would go 'cd cetak rompak' most of the time.. barely watch-able.

It started happening since last night around 8pm before the heavy-heavy downpour at 10pm. Im in Klang btw. And now, this clear morning its still happening but more less affected compared to last night till the black dialog box appeared.

Any other channels are working fine. Especially HD channels. 431, 433, 720~726. Heck, I think most non-local stations have no problem.

I've checked the cable conn and nothing is wrong with the conn. Even tried rebooting and re-insert the smart card.
Any ideas?

I too not sure what went wrong. If the cable conn is fault, I wont be getting any other channels right? But, this problem applies to local stations like TV1, TV2, TV3, NTV7, ALHijrah, TV9, and some international stations like Disney and Fox.
