Berita baik buat anda pelanggan setia ASTRO melalui pakej ASTRO BEYOND HD. Mulai 21 Mei 2012 ASTRO menambah satu lagi saluran khusus buat penonton rangkaian Mustika, di mana saluran tersebut akan beroperasi dalam bentuk HD sepenuhnya. MUSTIKA HD akan menemui pelanggan BEYOND HD di saluran 134 secara percuma ( hanya untuk pelanggan Pakej Mustika sahaja). Saluran tersebut akan dipertontonkan secara percuma mulai 21 Mei hingga 31 Julai 2012. Selepas itu, pelanggan Astro yang ingin mendapatkan Mustika HD, perlu melanggan pakej Mustika tersebut.

Menurut Nizam Sani, Pengurus Kumpulan Saluran Premium Astro dalam satu kenyataan akhbar berkata ' Astro akan menyajikan rangkaian perkhidmatan berdefinisi tinggi sepenuhnya melalui saluran premium ini dengan program terbaik tanpa tandingan yang akan ditayangkan dalam format full HD. Program yang disajikan termasuk dokumentari, konsert, program realiti, drama, telenovela, filem dan telefilem dengan mensasarkan penonton melayu selama 24 jam siaran tanpa henti.

Menariknya, semua kandungan siaran akan disertai Sarikata bagi program luar negara, kecuali bagi kandungan tempatan yang mengekalkan Bahasa Malaysia sebagai isi cerita. Masterchef Selebriti, Super Spontan, Imam Muda, Pasion Morena dan sebagainya akan dipersembahkan dalam bentuk HD khusus buat pelanggan Mustika HD di Astro Beyond HD.

Perlancaran MUSTIKA HD melalui pakej Mustika Beyond HD, melengkapkan lagi kandungan HD Astro, antaranya Fox Movies Premium HD, HBO HD, Sundance Channel HD, AXN HD, AXN Beyond HD, FX HD, KIX HD, Star World HD, One HD, Celestial Movies HD, Astro Zhi Zun HD, Life Inspired HD, Food Network Asia HD, Astro Supersport HD, Astro Supersport HD 2, EXPN HD, National Geographic HD, History Channel HD dan Discovery HD, juga Astro First HD bagi filem-filem terpilih.

Correct, but three problems with ABN:
1: Fiber rollout. Base on my experience with fiber (goddamnit TM! By the time UniFi reached my area the channel I want badly has already stopped showing the show I want to see!), I think we'll wait until grow beard and white hair already only it'll come...
2: They're too secretive. What channels do they have? When is the exact opening date? They do not reply to e-mails and questions posted to FB, their website hasn't been updated for ages, and their jobstreet profiles are nonexistent even if they have a few entries there.

3: How do we know it isn't a front created just to distract us from assteruk's monopoly?

The obvious change that I can see on this new update is the VOD features... Those with Byond PVR (int HDD) and Standard Byond with (ext hdd) are able to purchase the VOD titles by just connecting their STB to Unifi or Streamyx router. But it seems that most of the VOD titles are really outdated and for me, it's not worth to burn-out your RM8 for this service...

If u want chinese channels go for Skynindo, there's about 16 available. Plus their decoder can watch any FTA channels broadcast by any satellite.

The day assteruk loses their monopoly...

As for content, actually both availability and content determines their success. If your content is good but coverage is lousy, you're not going to get anywhere (just ask TM). Likewise, if content is lousy but coverage is good (i.e. DETV and Assteruk - the latter for people who don't like sports or chinese dramas), then you're also going to lose customers very fast.

I saw few satellite dishes setup just next to their building at Puchong Gate. Seem still busy setting up their office.
