Just downloaded the new iOS 5.1, hope to see improvements in my phone...
atm with 5.01, i get delayed notifications in data msgs, low battery life, occasional screeching sounds on data phonecalls, lag in app response etc. Using Iphone4 anyone has any comments on the new iOS so far? This post has been edited by levanter: Mar 8 2012, 08:03 AM |

I have low expectations on Iphone 5 seeing the changes in the Ipad 3...
And iOS 5.1 has no major changes, i doubt the battery problem will be fix seeing how many software updates came out addressing that issue but until now it still persist =.= |

Short update, 30 mins and my phone is still at 100%!! Played abit of 'draw something' and safari. Things are looking good!
And it's faster/less laggy than before! =D |

QUOTE(makaveli @ Mar 8 2012, 10:02 AM) I mean the official update? That's what I saw from the file size shown by software update in my phone anyway. I updated directly from my phone. And I agree, don't really like the swipe up to camera update. It'll be easier to accidentally unlock ur phone that way =.= |

I know it improves battery life in idle mode for me, as for battery during usage might only have abit of difference.
