after upgraded 5.1
noticed battery life improved a little.
Also noticed the ringtone is a lot softer than before.
But network is un-determined.
i do alot of sales calls.. and i noticed after a few minutes "CALL FAIL"
always happen when talking important stuff get cut offf!!!**&^&^%$$$
feel like slamming the phone on the wall...
sigh
anyone else got this problem?

Haha. I know what you mean. What I can say from my personal experience is 5.1 is better with battery but searching for network part is pretty bad. I mean...not as what I expected. Changing from E to 3G takes times and also, experienced your problem as well

One issue I realized recently is that sometimes the camera lens take a long time to open.

On your screen ''that metal blade'' thing. Stuck there for awhile.

Sure meh camera takes long time to open because of JB? Mine takes 2 second to open if open from homescreen and 1 second if open from lockscreen. FYI mine is 4S la.

Guys I'm on 5.0.5 ip4s JBed.

I'm having a problem with my photot album the past 2 days.

It will randomly refresh my photo album, when u go in it twill say hotot album empty then it will start rereshing all the albums again like redownloading kinda thing.

Hope u guys know what I'm saying.

Anyone experiencing this?

1. mine is that whenever i am on call, the E/3G will be disconnect.
2. everytime when i reboot the fone, the 3G is on automatically (although i off it before i off the phone).
3. when the line is searching, u cant find the "carrier" option
anyone has this problem?

fhew...my computer GC died while upgrading the iphone...caused the blue screen of death...and shut down by itself...very tensed moment...lucky it happened at the last moment of upgrading...so it worked out well

so overall wht would u guys suggest?remain in 5.0.1 or go for 5.1?

of course upgrade la .. but the downside is only tethered jb at the moment and activator is not working

but alot of ppl complaining about the signal prob.

then, just don't upgrade.

Oh yeah, I hate this. Everytime need to ON and OFF "Enable 3G" for it to change back to 3G. So irritating since Edge so slow to even load anything.

Previously I had the 'No SIM' error every morning and needed to reboot my iPhone 4S so I could use my phone. After upgraded to iOS 5.1, this problem is solved and the battery life is really improved a lot.

mine also but i just go to airplne mode and actvte back then ok..later update to 5.1 whn jb out..

I tried it but it didn't work, so I had to reboot my phone

Actually they detect E as E is stronger than 3G at that moment. Just wish the speed of changing is faster
