Balanced nutrition meal is the key point.every single cell in our body need balanced nutrition, then only it will works fantastic.without a proper meal,it will not give you a healthy life.
World health organization said that today the food is the lowest nutrition ever and highiest poison ever in the century.
What I can help here is giving a balanced meal to my customer.im serving every single day for them to help them become healthier.
I believe no matter u are healthier now or sick and disease now.not important.the most important is what you going to feed for ur cell in the coming future?body cell changing and growing every single day.how do you want to growing it,protect it,giving it the right meal?

after reading some article for "methotrexate", I found that it really works for psoriasis especially reducing the skin cells proliferating speed due to redness or inflammatory cause of psoriasis. still I'm not good in medical knowledge, for ppl wants to try this out.. please please please get doctor advise b4 proceed.

Regarding virgin coconut oil, you could try taking two tablespoonfuls
a day for three months and see if it helps.

This Rainforest brand has jumped up a ridiculous 30 per cent in price recently,
so you may try Country Farm's Organics at $58 a liter. I bought a bottle at
Hartamas Shopping Centre's supermarket the other day, but may be cheaper
direct from Country Farm's outlets. Made in Philippines. (I don't have psoriasis,
trying it out mainly for the antibacterial activity of its lauric acid content.)

Has your dermatologist tried the monoclonal antibodies/TNF-alpha inhibitors like
ethanercept and infliximab on you ?

My boss has psoriasis, and some years ago this Chow Skin Specialist (clinic in Pudu
and Pantai) injected one of the above on him at some $1,500 per shot.

As expected, since they are immunosuppressive, his psoriasis cleared up well, but
naturally relapsed some months later.

Note, however, that these drugs, as immunosuppresants, have been linked with an
increased risk of cancer (particularly leukemia and lymphomas, though controversial)
and may also activate latent tuberculosis.

Pentoxifylline (Trental), the old drug used in intermittent claudication and bed sores,
also inhibits TNF-alpha, IL-1 and IL-6.

"Perhaps the prototype of TNF-α mediated diseases in dermatology is psoriasis.
Indeed, some of the new biologic drugs for psoriasis act by inhibition of this cytokine.
The beneficial effects of PTX in psoriasis have been shown in nude mice in both in vivo
and in vitro studies [25], but there is a lack of sufficient studies in humans. "

Sulfasalazine, the old immunosuppressive drug used in ulcerative colitis, Crohn's
and rheumatoid arthritis, is apparently also a TNF-alpha inhibitor. Note that it has
pretty heavy side effects. Thus the newer derivative, mesalazine, may be safer.

Sulfasalazine and pentoxifylline in psoriasis: a possible safe alternative.

Antiproliferative effect of pentoxifylline on psoriatic and normal epidermis.

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/m/pubmed/8982405

Fumaric acid esters have been used for decades, but are linked
with toxic effects on the kidney, as well as gastrointestinal problems.

Addition of pentoxifylline could reduce the side effects of fumaric acid esters
in the treatment of psoriasis.

My father has suffered from psoriasis for years, seek treatment from many skin specialist and spent lots of money.

He was introduced by a doctor friend to try a health supplement call - SOUL for his psoriasis condition.

He was told our body lack of Essential Fatty Acids that caused psoriasis, he need to take EFA supplements.

Out of desperation, my father gave it a try, to his surprise, after one week taking SOUL, his psoriasis subsided and after 3 months, almost completely heal.

This product is amazing! It is made of 3 types of seeds (black cumin/black raspberry/Chardonnay grape seeds) high in EFA's Omega3,6,9. It taste like concentrated raspberry juice.

SOUL has many health benefits to our body, I will not discuss further as this forum is about psoriasis. You can google or search from youtube to find out more in detail.

Attached a link of testimonial of psoriasis sufferer and other skin/body disorder after taking SOUL product.

steroid is bad, it's a drug that eventually make your body dependant on the drug and it masks the symptoms. it doesnt address the root.

Try black seed oil, eat 2 teaspoon per day.. find the cold pressed one.. that's the best, purest type

In this thread below, you mentioned your father suffered from eczema. Is eczema the same as psoriasis? I googled and found out eczema and psoriasis were two different skin diseases. Care to clarify?

Quit smoking, eat healthy and hydrate myself and 3 months it's gone. After a while i started back smoking, damn shit came back again. Now i quit smoking totally

The only thing that works for me is traditional chinese medicine. My TCM doctor is very experienced, the first time he saw my symptoms, he said I just need to keep my body cooling (in terms of TCM) then the body will have the right environment to heal it by itself. More plain water, sleep early,  lots of fibre (others like carbo/protein just keep them limited), take a lot of cooling foods (cincau/ coconut water/ herbal tea/ small bittergourd juice). After 6 months of good practice and intake of his medicine, I only have some tiny/thin scales left on my scalp. (no other body parts, it has been so long since I face serious itchiness) Also, I can now gain some body weight (before this, I was turning so skinny, no matter how I eat last time, i could not gain weight).

*No, I don't rely on topical stuffs like creams/ointment/steroid/soap, they are worthless.
*
It has been quite some time since I posted here. I am not sure if the Psoriasis sufferers are still visiting this thread.

TCM stopped working for me after a year or so and it was a hassle. I consistently had flare-ups and it was never completely gone.

In the past two years, I have been treating it with helminthic therapy (google it, it is a "fringe" treatment approach that is not commercializable) with great successes. Psoriasis (or maybe seborrheic dermatitis) that I used to suffer from is completely/100% cleared with zero flare-ups for two years now and no diet restrictions are needed. More importantly, there is absolutely no need to apply anything topical (shampoos, creams, ointments) to the scalp and skin.
