hi guys,i just bought battlefield 3 limited edition from a store DVD rom,i was able to install everything and update everything and even play campaign,but i m sad that i cannot play multiplayer mode,i dunno why

scenario 1.the battlelog is able to browse and also i was able to connect to a server(low ping 93),but when the battlefield 3 p0op out,it is black screened for so long,i leave it for 10min at least but still could not solve.

scenario 2.i connect a to server low ping of course,but it is stuck at connecting(notice that the battlefield 3 icon is at my taskbar),and when i click onto the battleifld 3 icon,it is white screen and my mouse coulden move i had to clt alt delete.

these 2 scenario cause me cannot play multiplayer battlefield 3,i tried the repair thing and also uninstall and install again,but coulden work,i hope some1 can help me out...TY

oh!i suspect maybe is the port forward thing??but i use p1,cant find my modem at portforward.com.

turn off anti virus / firewall as well.
sounds like ur connection is timing out to the server.

yea firewall and antivirus...oh and P1..that says it all

i dun have anti varus and also turn off firewall,now i m at home and i tried it on my streamyx,but still cannot still the 2 scenario~~

i assume its original BF3 right.
update punkbuster.
update the game to the latest patch.

yes its original bf3,my origin states bf3 limited edition,update punkbuster??dun have punkbuster in any of my folder leh??why must use punk buster??

Punk Buster is used by the game. Look for the PB folder, that's it. I forgot how to update the thing, but I am sure someone will update this thread on how to do it

Punkbuster is mandatory install to detect cheaters. Since hackers always try to develop new cheats punkbuster is updated very frequently. It is installed but u wont notice it easily. Just download the latest version and install.

1. you are using winxp or win 7 ? << win xp got problem starting due to directx problem

2. did you update your graphic card driver to latest ? if not, you still can play, once you launch, a BF3 will appear on the lower task bar, click on it, sometimes u will get warning to update your graphc card driver, click ok then i should launch automatically. but it might crash ...

Windows XP is NOT supported by BF3. AT ALL. Period.
