I BOUGHT A 45W MAGSAFE ADAPTER TODAY (ASKED SOMEONE TO COLLECT ON MY BEHALF).

THROUGHOUT MY PMs WITH THE SELLER, HE ALSO NEVER ONCE MENTIONED THAT HE IS NOT SELLING THE NEW MAGSAFE. AND NEITHER DID HE ONCE THOUGHT OF CONFIRMING WITH ME AS TO WHICH MAGSAFE I WANTED. IN FACT, HE NEVER EVEN ASKED WHAT MACBOOK I WAS USING IT FOR.
SO WHAT DID I DO WHEN I FOUND I HAD THE WRONG MAGSAFE?
I SMSED HIM. NO ANSWER.
SO I CALLED HIM - TOOK HIM AGES TO TAKE MY CALL.
TO MAKE IT SHORT - HE ABSOLUTELY DOES NOT ENTERTAIN ANY COMMUNICATION ON THIS MATTER AND INSTEAD CHOOSES TO BLAME THE BUYER (ME) FOR THE ERROR.
YES, I CAN BUY A MAGSAFE 2 CONVERTER - BUT THE COST OF IT (PLUS WHAT I PAID TO THIS SELLER) WILL EQUAL THE COST OF BUYING A BRAND NEW ORIGINAL MAGSAFE 2 ADAPTER FROM APPLE. PROBABLY CHEAPER TO BUY IT FROM APPLE.
IN MY CALL, I WANTED TO TELL THE SELLER I AM A REASONABLE INDIVIDUAL. I AM NOT ASKING FOR A REFUND, MAYBE EXCHANGE FOR SOMETHING ELSE HE IS SELLING.
BUT NO, HE NEVER GIVES THE CUSTOMER A CHANCE TO TALK. HE JUST GOES ON AND ON. IN SHORT, HE JUST WANTS TO BE RIGHT AND THE CUSTOMER IS WRONG, NO MATTER WHAT. HE PROBABLY NEVER HEARD OF THE PHRASE: THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT.
MY CONCLUSION:
I HAVE PURCHASED (AND SOLD) MANY ITEMS ON LOWYAT. I GUESS I AM UNLUCKY TO MEET THIS UNINFORMED SELLER.
SO IF ANYONE WANTS THIS ABSOLUTELY UNUSED MAGSAFE (AS WHAT YOU WOULD GET FROM THIS SELLER), I WILL SELL IT FOR A RM30 DISCOUNT FROM HIS PRICE. I AM JUST FED-UP AND NO LONGER INTERESTED TO DEAL WITH SUCH SELLERS. PERIOD."Customer is always right"----But please do not take it for granted,over the bottom line or clever 1 sided.
1)Through some much Q&A via PM for information about the product.It shows that you have understand & request the correct product.Furthermore,we already advise you to read our post here thoroughly as well.You already inform yourself that using Macbook Air.
2)You are the one who hang up the phone/terminate the call.Did you gave us the chance to explain/provide you the resolution?? You just end the conversation arrogant & hostile that"You knowledge for Mac products are better than me!!!"
3)Upon we read & understand your text message.
"One small problem,i use the new magsafe 2,yours is the old head.If i were to buy the converter,it will be cheaper for me to buy the new magsafe adapter direct from Apple."From the understanding,why you don't mentioned straight away that the adapter does not fit for your Macbook & ask what can we do to solve the issue?? Instead of,you only think & found out the cost of the converter & push the blame that we do not provide/inform the details/did not ask you whether you want is Magsafe 1 or Magsafe 2 & said that we supply you the wrong item.All because our carelessness.

ONLY 10min when the SMS is not replied.We pick up at the
1st Call.We are NOT a 24hrs call center with hundreds of ppl who is ready for you every seconds & minutes like large corporate.Your call & message is

STILL reply/answer messages/calls,

5)We provide you to exchange the product with same value but you are not accept.
6)Our ads here is CLEARY shows that it is Magsafe 1 adapter together with picture attached.There is NO where mentioned that we have Magsafe 2 or picture of Magsafe 2 as well.
Moral of the story:
1)Ask politely & correctly for resolution,if you already purchase wrong item.
2)Always ask & provide detail information,if you are not sure whether the item suitable use for your equipment.
3)Do put the blame on seller itself by try to CORRECT your own wrong judgement & still says that you truly know what you wanted.
