it wont corrode unless u are using a coolant with something in it that can corrode the acrylic res

and it wont have any growth of algae if u use biocide

Just use 100% distilled water...no corrosive or algae growth occurred because no organism in distilled water even you abondon your pc for a month
except the wb is made of aluminium(corrosive will happen not algae growth issue)...
For better result just add silver coil in reservoir and this can prevent corrosive from happen for 1-2 year...

You will save your money and you get lower temp like 2-3°C below than mixtured water with coolant/dyes
