QUOTE(louis91 @ Dec 15 2011, 03:10 PM) any gurus here can tell me how to make a setup so that i can drain the system easily? tried to drain my system just now which is a pain in the ass. I heard the best is to use T fitting. Just make sure you plug another hole using cap. http://www.chilledpc.co.uk/shop/index.php?cPath=64_82 No more PITA using this simple method. |

QUOTE(owikh84 @ Feb 9 2012, 05:42 PM) martinsliquidlab has a nice review HERE The pump consume 50 watts at top this MCP-35X2 @ 43% PWM ~ 5.16v is on par with dual MCP655. note that single pump MCP35X @ 12v is already a winner over a single MCP655 @ 12v. Just that MCP-35X2 & MCP35X tend to get hot & noisy when flow rate is high & higher PWM. That is idle CPU power consumption of my HPTC. |

Can we use mineral oil in water cooling loops? Eg. pump is Swiftech MCP655-B, a 240 Rad and a CPU block.

QUOTE(Dennos @ Feb 12 2012, 11:42 PM) 5/8 once u plug in, it stuck there, nearly permanent . u can use it to tow a bulldozer, the fitting and the tube wont detach i assume. Never try never know. How about 1/2"? So the best for tubing is 5/8" right Added on February 12, 2012, 11:46 pm duralene <== This post has been edited by flexus90: Feb 13 2012, 02:02 PM |

Another good product from Swiftech, 5.25" Bay Reservoir with multiple option/configuration
Swiftech Introduces New Maelstrom 5 ¼" Dual Bay Reservoir QUOTE Rouchon Industries, Inc. dba Swiftech announced today the release of the Maelstrom 5 ¼” Dual Bay Reservoir. The product is modular and can be configured to operate either as a standalone coolant reservoir or with one or two integrated Swiftech’s MCP35x class pumps, all fitting in a dual CD drive bay. The primary design concepts for this product line were modularity and compatibility with the MCP35x class pumps and their related accessories for upgrade purposes. Continuing the company’s long established tradition, the Maelstrom also includes a host of monitoring and operational safety features which combined together form a unique offering in the industry, such as: coolant temperature display, graduated level, anti-vortex design, multiple inlet ports, extra-large fill-port, and UV LED; its robust and elegant construction features a solid black anodized aluminum face plate with large cutouts allowing easy visualization of the coolant status. “When integrated with a single or dual MCP35X pump, the Maelstrom combines stunning looks with extreme performance features” said Gabriel Rouchon the company’s CEO “in this respect, I am equally proud of the fact that Swiftech is now the only company in the world to offer an integrated pump with each major component of a liquid cooling system: with a radiator, the MCR-Drive radiator series, with a CPU waterblock, the Apogee Drive II, and now –at last, with a 5 ¼" bay reservoir: the Maelstrom! This unique ability will soon allow us to release new generations of complete liquid cooling kits catering to just about any user preference or case setup. Clearly, users and system builders now have more choices than ever before to configure their liquid cooling systems, and this is great news for the industry.” Five versions of the Maelstrom reservoir are available, including standalone, with single or dual built-in pump, and two upgrade configurations for users already owning compatible Swiftech pumps. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « This post has been edited by flexus90: Aug 6 2012, 02:03 PM |
