I'm about to get WC parts from US, it'll cost about US$600-US$700, I'm just wondering will it be any tax for WC parts? I know it won't be any tax for PC parts, but can WC can consider PC part also?

Are those hose clamps that sell at hardware store work for barbs on PC water cooling system? Are they safe from leak?

QUOTE(lichyetan @ Mar 11 2012, 06:20 PM) They work of course. Just make sure you find the right size for tubing you using. So basically both PC WC shops and hardware stores are selling exactly the same hose clamp right. I've some plastic hose clamps, but from what I heard those plastics one are not reliable, that's why I'm looking for metal one. They save you from leak when water temp heat up or u got high pressure loop by preventing the tube being break off from you barb. |

Actually I've already bought some compression fittings, but not enough to fit them all. So I'm thinking to use hose clamps on those barbs that hidden from view, compression will use it on viewable area of course.
Also beside tesco and giant, where can I buy spritzer distilled water? Prefer convenience store such as 7-11. This post has been edited by HiT-AbLe: Mar 11 2012, 07:25 PM |

But I can't find any convenience store that sell distill water, they only have mineral water.

I need you guys help. I want to link pump and radiator together, and because the space is very limited, it's quite hard to to bend the tube 90 degree. After doing some researches I figured out there're 2 options. One is get a 90 degree rotary and add female to female extender(link) so both sides also can put barbs and tubes, another one is get T-Block and add one stop fitting.
So which option is the best and won't effect the flow inside the loop? Or is there any other option that better than both options above? ![]() This post has been edited by HiT-AbLe: Mar 14 2012, 10:09 PM |

QUOTE(pennykia @ Mar 14 2012, 10:37 PM) 2 3/8 bard, short 3/8 tube , 30RM or lesser... u didnt tell the distance... if u only use fitting, u need to align very accurately... and did u mount ur pump using screw or .... ? I'll use the adhesive pad that comes along with MCP35X, and I'm using 1/2" X 3/4" tube. For distance I've to cut very short tube between radiator and T-block/rotary, it's like the distance between 2 GPUs crossfire and u need to cut very short tube. |

I just rearrange it and turn out the distance between radiator and T-block/rotary is quite far, roughly 20mm between both barbs, I don't think I need d plug for that. So the only question now is which combo should I get? 90 degree rotary + extender or T block + stopper?

QUOTE(owikh84 @ Mar 15 2012, 11:33 AM) Just use tubing would it possible? Otherwise i'd go for 90R + extender combo. What makes u choose this over T-block? I just want something that won't add restriction to the loop. |

QUOTE(pennykia @ Mar 15 2012, 05:37 PM) I think u better draw or show some pic for us, In order for us to give u better suggestion. How to setup Fill/Drain port on T Block? I'm still scratching my head of how to fill/drain on reservoir.Depend on ur rad position at top or bottom of ur case. One thing tblock can do better than 90d is u can have another outlet for Fill/ dry port |

I got what u mean, thanks.
Dennos I notice that you've EK-Multioption RES X2 250 Advanced, well I've this reservoir too, and I've some questions to ask. 1. Can I turn this reservoir upside down? What I mean is that turn the top part to the bottom and bottom to the top, I want to turn it upside down to suit my loop but I don't know whether it's safe from leaking or not. 2. There're 3 tubes inside the reservoir, can u help me to locate them all as I've no idea what can I do to them. ![]() |
