Normally for top rads you need an air filter, dust tends to drop on the top of the casing
Plus with a higher fpi rad harder to clean the rads

It is such small, little performance...if combine wif another pump like MPC355 will b nice... connect the output of it to a RAM block will b gooding.. thumbup.gif
*
The 35x pump is rather powerful. At 70% it's more powerful than 655 don't need another pump unless you have multiple blocks

Can this
http://www.swiftech.com/hd7900-hsf.aspx
fit with my XSPC raystorm GPU block?
*
Cost becomes to close to a full, cover block
But performance would not be that close
Best to stick with your ray storm block and add individual heat sinks to your block.

yeah, using raystorm gpu. ram and vrm cooled using stock ati heatsink plate. you can do tht by taking out the shroud and the heatpipe heatsink of amd ati reference cooler. the barbs barely clear the plate by using bp rotary.
*
Sounds like a good way to use the heat sink. I have 3 spare heat sink here doing nothing

Do anyone know any seller than Cyntrix who sells
PrimoFlex 3/8" ID 5/8"
in a reasonable price?
All of the seller are cutting throat with ridiculous price =/
Sadly Cyntrix doesn't have stock, which made me have to find the tubing myself.
*
The apes group sells them at rm12 per foot
From performance pc it is usd2 per foot. How much does Cyntrix sells them

Normally they would process order instantly after payment.
Depends on what courier you choose. USPS express took 7-10 days to reach my doorstep.
Actually more time lying at customs dept before clearance.
*
normally its 2 weeks is common including the custom clearance or the custom letter in your mail box

hi..im planning to get apogee drive 2 and connect it series with the current mcp355..

these pump they only push the water..so to switch both pump on..must i fill the loop with enough water..?

or i should on the mcp355 first then the apogee drive 2..?
*
U need to make sure there is enough water in your reservoir
The 35x can drain water very quickly in a 250 bitspower rad
When empty, the pump drains the full res in 2 seconds. Need to turn on and turn off quickly to reload water
I run 35x in series. Waiting for another 35x to run triple

It's pumps res->35x2->rx480->rx480->ek Dom memory block-> raystorm-> custom MOSFET blocks-> hd7970->
Hd7970->hd7970 -> tfc480 -> bitspower res

custom MOSFET???  drool.gif wat mobo??? care to share... pic pls....

using the P8Z68-V asus board
you would need something like the koolance mosfet block or watercooled mosfet block. I used Larkooler because it was available locally.
You need to make the mounting plates for the respective mosfet blocks. This would require machining or a laser cut for the bracket.
total cost for the brackets and the larkooler blocks for a 2 mosfet blocks was rm200
next time when need to change motherboard spend about rm30 to change the mounting plates for the new motherboard

mosfet blocks when priming reach to 60C in a haf chassis, so the mosfet chips are around 65C-68C
they do benefit from watercooling

mind to share ur setup, maybe next time can follow ur idea.

its good to save our $$ by just changing the mounting instead of whole block .
*
Sure
Made a mistake, mounted everything without taking pictures.
Now it looks like a complete block because wrap the whole piece with carbon fibre sticker
Will see how to explain shortly

Next job is to fix heat sinks brackets to my gs kill ram to fit the ek Dom waterblock

remove the ori GS heatspreader? u are using GS ripjaws x/z or sniper?
*
Have not decided, might be using the original heatspreader and mount the plate to the head spreader
Easier this way. Effective aluminum thickness will be 2.5mm then

should air cooling is more efficient. while my cacat rig was folding 24/7 previously, my gs cooled with air ram cooler.

Felt like no heat at all when i touched the heat spreader.
*
nope water coooling is more efficient as the heat is taken away better
however for memory is a waste of money, the heat generated is really low, the heatspreader are around 40-44C after heavy use. the memory chips should be about 50C. an air cooling like air ram is more than overkill for the rams
water cooling just for the looks only and the tubing length being nicer. total cost is around RM205-210 for the waterblock and 4 sets of heatspreader brackets so should be reasonable to have it
plus i have 2 spare compression fittings which i can use and spare tubing, so its okay.

UNlike other parts of the pc, ram cooling is a serious waste of money
my casing ambient noise is 37 db with case open on all sides, running 21 fans, the loudest fan is the x1250 psu fan. my room ambient noise is 34-35db. So my pc is really quiet, GS ram cooler is too noisy for my taste unless feeds thru a fan controller.

there is quiet a few way to drain it out..but..first thing that come to my mind is..open the stopper at the gc..the one facing down..and then unplug the 90 degree adapter..

or..u flip ur case 90 degree anticlockwise ...since ur using compression..unplug the tube from the top of the reservoir..and let the water flow..use small Tupperware to collect the water..
*
actually if you want to be easier, you can either add a d-plug fitting at the top of the res, easier to pull out or add a t-block from res to motor
that is the best place to drain the water as it is the lowest point of the water loop

I am interested in the fusion core
wanted to bring in via performance pc
perhaps we can do a group buy to get it in
if you are using dye, the res mixes the solution better

Im really interested to get one for myself too..there are also dual mcp35x top i wanna grab too..

Im nt using dye..instead ek bloody red coolant..so far i have no issue with it..
*
do note the dual mcp35x pump is rather long and may not be easy to fit into a normal chassis. i have one i remember it was a tight fit for most standard atx chassis unless you are using a full chassis like the 800D, haf932 or hafx
