ek kit also nice..so does xspc..if im not mistaken..now they have the raystorm kit..why dont u try that?

well i started from rasa kit > unstoppable upgrade..hahaha..
anyway guy,

i need some opinion..i cant get the real answer..which is better?

rx480 + push

or ex480 +push + pull

here are the plan..i got myself a buyer for my modded 500r which fit rx240 push pull and xt240 pull..

now im gonna start a new project soon..using rv02 not the one with hot-swappable drivebay..

the plan is to put 480 rad bottom and 240rad infront..since im using max iv gene-z should fit nicely those rad..

thanks  notworthy.gif

Which fan are you. Using? If it is gt then ex480
If it ac it rx. Doing push pull will be better around 10 percent
Also if you are looking to sell rx easier to sell.

so ac push pull on ex480?

hey just wta~
is it worth to invest WC (block) on GTX580 now?? cos is like almost end for 580~
*
Now the block 2nd hand is really cheap. If you are changing cards soon then buy universal. If not buy full block.

ic, i just installed it since i received it from Mr P month ago. And its annoying.
*
Do a rma, sounds there is issues with the servo controller on board the fan. Turn on and off will do a hard reset on the controller. But the problem normally would get worse if its the servo controller ic

Does not matter. Another issue that may cause this is bearing. Again all of this will get worse over time

i believe that is bearing problem because i can feel some vibration once i plug that fan online.
*
Then better do rma quickly then
i guess qc is not too good with gt or you are just unluckly

tadaaa. casing>screw+nut>delta fan>radiator. perfect radiator holder!

upper rad : push (Delta) + pull (NMB 0.32A)
middle and lower : pull (corsair H series)

all fan being controlled by lamptron FC4

At least the rad is mechanically secure. Better than the previous setup.
There is a gizmo sold I think by koolance that allows mechanical fixing like picture but the spacing can be adjusted.
Sold by niclasteoh

My triple FC7970 blocks are still fine inside the SB-E rig. No corrosion at all.
Just changed the coolant from ugly dark purplish EK Bloodred to Primochill Bloodred few days ago.

I will grab a ref GTX680 within these few days & put it under water in my IB rig.
Heard the EK FC680 wb already arrived APES office a few hours ago so just in time to sambar one plexi-nickel for me.  thumbup.gif
*
considering to add another 7970 to the rig. Not sure it is the right path or abandon 7970 and go for the gtx680

if you think not enough with single GPU, then go for multi GPUs. smile.gif
7970 vs GTX680? there's no clear winner between these two.
Both are the best cards from each camp.
*
i am tempted with the 680 as there is less driver problems. Its not so much of performance but the hard reset when the game hangs

ya.... tht wat i thinkinh about too.

now try to detect the noise source and isolate it.

btw, the airflow it move out frm gts360 rad is way better it terms of noise airflow ratio compare to other fan in 1800-2000 rpm range.  laugh.gif
*
when i tested the gt fans
they need to be operated around max 1200rpm. After that they are too noisy for my taste. However at 1200rpm they had slighty more air flow than AC fans

Hi all Lowyat watercooler, I'm new to WC and want to try now.

I'm using Noctua NH-D14 and my question is does it worth to switch to WC kit like XSPC Rasa RS240 ? (I know RX240 will be better but I want to put in my CM690II top and 45mm thickness is really issue - CyntrixTech do you think it can fit at the top ?)

My temp with i7 2600k 4.4Ghz is in mid of 60-70c (Check my youtube video below) which I want to keep it under 60c with the XSPC kit. What do you think ?

* Check out the coming Cooler Master Eisberg WC kit (10-12c better than Corsair H series ?) => http://www.overclock.net/t/1226720/cooler-...oling-solutions

and the India own closed loop WC product (better than Corsair H series ) => http://www.techenclave.com/topic/510492-sv...-hoc-20-review/

*
the rx240 should be able to fit the top for the cm690. the temp would be much better than air cool solution. the rasa kit is best value for money

just now installing my xspc rasa kit.after fill up the res i start the pump and its working.then i stop the pump.fill up the coolant again but this time the pump wont work..tried many time still no work..anybody know why?is it the pump rosak....
*
You can check the connection first if in order, check else where. just to be sure, use the same molex cable and use it to power something else. Hopefully is not cable or psu issue

was there a time that the pump was ever run without water? if yes you may have damage the motor

if not then have to do RMA. sounds like the pump is spoilt

your luck is bad as mine my set is from cyntrix too, had pump problems too on the same kit
called cyntrix for rma. Was told he import directly from XSPC. But do ask could be hearsay. Last time have to RMA from PP-Tek
since its new you should ask for one to one replacement
