So the bigger the rad the faster it can dissipate heat compared to a smaller bit thicker one? (Provided that the ambient temp and fans used are same.)

QUOTE(owikh84 @ Apr 24 2012, 08:58 AM) i'd go with RS360. I see. I don't think you're going to put just 2 fans on the triple rad right? so that extra fan is another point. QUOTE(sam sam @ Apr 24 2012, 09:19 AM) More surface area for the fans to blow thru. Normally slim rads needs to use fans that are high rpm. Slim rads have more fpi so the fans needs to be faster to generate high static pressure So rads that have more FPI need faster fans? |

QUOTE(akupening @ Apr 24 2012, 08:35 PM) lol brader. i think u've spamming for quite some time already laaa. most of the questions u asked can be obtained easily from the net. u do know spoon feeding is not allowed here right..??? please do some research before posting your questions. sorry if u got offended but somebody has to say it to u and i am sorry that it has to be me. First and foremost I'm sorry if I've spammed but IIRC isn't the purpose of thread is to discuss about WC? Once again I'm sorry if I've spammed I just wanna gain knowledge and double check what the knowledge that I've learn from google whether or not it's inferior. QUOTE(CyntrixTech @ Apr 24 2012, 09:27 PM) Interesting bench looking forward to it's completion. QUOTE(marsha1l @ Apr 24 2012, 10:55 PM) for passive cooling for the mb heatsink since i do oc and same goes to ram?..just my POV..correct me if im wrong.. I see, will try my best to restrict my spending if not later... to 5p3ak: warning..wc is very very addictive..i started from 500 till now 1.5k and increasing This post has been edited by 5p3ak: Apr 25 2012, 04:55 PM |

QUOTE(CyntrixTech @ Apr 25 2012, 11:15 PM) The things that really affects cooling, to the point where it "matters" are: So in other words WC temp cannot go below Ambient Temp? 0) AMBIENT TEMPERATURE (keep your room cool) 1) Radiator 2) Fans 3) Flow rate Blocks, thermal pastes, and etc are all within 1-3C which is within a small margin of error |
