When I insert the battery the red led start up with the normal boot indicator then it stays on with a empty battery sign with a red cross over it.

*
are u asking prepaid plan..?

practically it is unlimited.. for digi .. but if use more than 500MB , then.. it will throttled[slow down] to 128kbps

i think celcom xpax BIS monthly advanced is till the cheapest among other telcos. 250mb is enough for me already biggrin.gif
*
celcom is not the cheapest !

right now it is umobile , then.. it is maxis .. celcom and digi same - RM 25 per month

but after 31 december , the cheapest is maxis, celcom, digi, umobile - same rate RM 25 per month

maxis RM 20 donno until when.. but then.. after promotion the rate is RM 30 per month

celcom - 250MB , Additional usage shall be charged at RM0.10/10kb
digi - 500MB , usage after that is free
umobile - 500MB [after 31 december], usage after that is free
maxis - 1.5GB Subsequent data usage will be charged at a pay per use rate of 1 sen /kB (peak) or 0.5 sen per kB (off peak)
- 100MB for BIS Bonus and subsequent data usage will be charged at the prevailing pay per use rate of 10sen per 10kB

practically, maxis is cheap if you are not use more than 1.5GB per month..

but digi is wise choice if you are average user..., 500MB ++ a month

celcom is the most expensive..

T-Mobile set is as good as AT&T set , those are oversea set..

just make sure those BB are fully UNLOCKED and SIM free + BB PIN free

thats all..,

but I still suggest go for Original phone here[means local phone that distributed by authorized distributor such as Brightstar/I-samart mobile

already google..but kenot find.. sweat.gif  sweat.gif

or i wrong google  laugh.gif
*
maxis - 1 year warranty

but if your maxis set is a brightstar set.. then you will get 18 months warranty from brightstar..

means, 1 year warranty from maxis and at the same time 18 months warranty from brightsar..

is it really 1.5GB per month for maxis. cos i used maxis before, only 100mb provided for BIS plan rm20+... after that keep on deducting my credit... plus can't load all the website freely (certain website only), if not will deduct credit straight away eventho not reach quota yet... luckily i call them and they refund my credit, but still for me not worth...
*
forgot to tell you that.. the BIS plan that I told before is the RM 98 hotlink BLACKBERRY PREPAID MONTHLY BIS PLAN

the BIS bonus is still 100MB and subsequent data usage will be charged at the prevailing pay per use rate of 10sen per 10kB

i already calling brighstar..then they can only tell me when my bb masuk malaysia only..for how many left warranty must call maxis..

so the question here is..can i claim warranty from maxis, like a brighstar?

brighstar = use imei

maxis = how? since i dun have a warranty card. hmm.gif
*
from maxis - receipt from maxis[buying the phone] , your maxis account ID [i bet you are a postpaid user] and also they will check your PIN and IMEI ,..

so must have receipt? and maxis acc id to claim warranty?
if have phone with have sticker brighstar on it..can claim warranty from maxis? maxis just refer imei only?
or must have receipt and maxis id?  hmm.gif
*
it is recommended to have purchase receipt.. but if dont have.. they can check your IMEI...and also maxis ID...
since it is also a brightstar phone.. just go to brightstar service center - better and faster..

if phone with brightstar sticker.. just go to brightstar service center..
if it is the maxis phone with brightstar sticker.. can go to both service center..

i think i wrong heard that customer service say..

dunno which 1..

1.if u want know how much warranty left, only maxis know..

2.u can only claim warranty your phone from maxis only
i forgot which ne she says..1 or 2  rclxub.gif  rclxub.gif

btw thx bro..2morow i call maxis..ask them..
*
1. you also can know how much warranty left.. [ just calculate based on the date you purchased BB from Maxis ]

2. it is recommended to claim warranty from brightstar.. if your phone is still a brightstar set, one of my friends just go to brighstar service center and claim the warranty for her maxis set phone.. [but it is after she used about 13 months].. so that's mean.. you still can claim from brightstar , if you send to maxis.. then.. they will also send to brightstar service center...

actually my bb is 2nd bro..

when i call brighstar ask them how many left warranty they dun know..but just can give when that phone publish into market..its JUN 2011...

i just have only full set phone..but without receipt and warranty card... sweat.gif  sweat.gif
*
sweat.gif sweat.gif that is the problem.. then.. you can refer to brightstar .. because although it is maxis set.. you are not buying directly from them[maxis] .. as we know, to buy maxis phone at special price, only maxis user can get it..

so, to claim warranty from maxis.. only the first owner/original owner can do it as they need account ID especially..

but dont worry.. try to claim warranty from brightstar.. as it is still a brightstar unit...

JUN 2011, so.. you still can claim warranty not even more than 1 year..

I need to clarify to you guys again, the 100MB quota for MAXIS BIS BONUS RM20 prepaid is NOT applicable under BIS, e.g. UNLIMITED as long as u use under BIS (browsing, bbm, facebook, twitter etc). You get credits deducted purely because you have used WAP apps or foursquare or streamed youtube.

If you want to use foursquare, make sure you never access 'notification settings' in options, that page drain your credit like water.

Source: MYSELF : Used for months and every month my usage is 1~2GB solely on the phone.

P/S: Above info only applies to BIS BONUS. BIS Lite or Social RM30 is a ripped off plan, you will get charged.

Also, any usage under BIS in Maxis postpaid bis is UNLIMITED too, the quota are for streaming.
*
well said, practically it is unlimited, the FUP is just for data
same goes to all telcos..

Already try battery pulling. But the problem still occured. Just now okay already. So I don't know what's the problem, or the cause. Maybe celcom problem? Hehe.. Very happy with this update. Less hang. Restart time only take 3minutes max. Or less than 2min if its really fast. Before this, always take 5-7minutes to restart. Any lenglui wanna bbm? Pm me. Haha. Kinda bored

hi guys, Ive been facing this problem for about 2-3 days already.
Im using 9780 & also Digi's internet plan lite.
Lately, whenever I msged my other frens who's on Digi, they seemed to received it late or I received their reply late.
have asked Digi and they say nothing wrong on their end.
Anyone encountering such issue the past few days?
