just wanna share my story..i bought bb 9700 last year..then after 2 months, got problem with trackpad & screen. so i sent back for them to repair coz still under warranty ap. after weeks of delaying n they said they're still repairing it, i kind of upset with their service. coz so slow..

finally got my bb back last 2 weeks..they courier to my hometown coz i insisted as im on long leave that time. unfortunately, the service centre just sent me phone only without battery & back cover..desperate of getting my works/email/fb of course tru bb, i bought new battery to turn on it. for now problem solved..

after i going back to kl, i went to their shop and said the service centre didnt send battery n back cover. after searching for a while, they gave me back. back cover is originally mine but battery not. looks like old already.. without complaining, i went back later. i tried to insert the battery that they give me. instead of the bb can be turn on, its screen goes completely WHITE after about 10% loading. when i use my new battery that i bought myself, its just fine.

so i may be can relate my case with ur case. dun go straightly sent ur bb for them to fix as they may bluffing said the display/screen broken.in my case, i think the battery corrupt already or broken,not sure.

p/s-what i didnt complain furthermore to them bout their bad service,battery kong,etc etc is because they upgraded my bb 9700 to bb 9780..dunno how,maybe they changed the board/circuit but i know my casing is original when i 1st bought it so what the hell?let it go..thats why i post this in 9780 thread

help!! my bb screen remains black and nomal back rapidly. but after i reboot it get to normal back. and few seconds it getting backto the problems. not sure why. can someone advice me?

hi guys, normally when my phone reaches to about 15% of remaining battery power, it will auto shut down. does your phone shut down at 15% or lower? I find it weird that it shuts down at around 15%.

how long u hv been using ur bb? maybe time to change ur batt. i faced same thing, then i bought new battery no more issue.

yeah. changing the battery will fix the problem.
my old curve battery died at 40% which is very annoying, changed the battery and everything work fine.

Why not? with the good price now and you can get a nice Blackberry which should serves what you needs.

For battery sure better than those running OS7. But battery life is depends on your usages and setting etc, for normal users 2days should be no problem.
