I was actually playing BF3 for 5min suddenly CPU shut down ownself, Den restart can boot. Tried Everything (from Taking Out parts 1 by 1). Still no Result
Now dont know whether to choose i7 2600 or AMD X6 1055

Anyone using i7 2600 to play Battlefield 3?

i7 2600k is very worth it for its price, if u want lower u can try i5 2500k also

in terms of gaming
i7 2600 give almost 2% significant performance gain
not to mention unused cores
so its better to stick with i5 2500k
because you can always upgrade to newer tech with lower cost
like how LGA775 kena sapu by LGA1155 less then 2 year of its production

I vote for i5 2500k, then buy CM 212+ or evo, OC to 4Ghz or above.

i would love to debate long long about this
but i will just make it short

i5 2500 : 4 cores 4 threads
i7 2600 : 4 cores 8 threads

the only things that i7 2600 users benefits is their extra cores
i don't think you will ever setup a quad SLi,Cfx
because indeed a higher processor is needed to prevent bottleneck
but if only Cfx or SLi as your max
i3 2100 can handle that as well
i5 2500 : RM600+
i7 2600 : RM900+

the only things that i7 2600 wins worth RM300 from i5 2500?
is multithreading
allow me to list some of jobs that uses multithreading

Folding,
3D Rendering,
3D Model,
Photoshop more then 1 slide,
etc

try asking at Hardware Question and Answer if you like,
they would say i5 2500 is enough for gaming anyday over i7 2600
heck some will opt i3 2100 if you have low budget or need more money on Graphic Card
because Intel Sandy Bridge generation is fast enough
