QUOTE(Gary1981 @ Nov 16 2011, 10:57 PM) Where got sell panasonic purifier? How abt AAF, do they have any dealers..I don't see any electrical shop selling AAF products.. I saw few from Electrical app shops selling the Panasonic one, they always comes with offer when you purchase panasonic aircon. btw here is some info for a reviewer commenting on sharp air purifierhttp://jasonmumbles.com/2011/08/adv-sharp-...ion-technology/ I am actually using this ![]() Tested effectively remove odor in my room. Personal experienced this, my little cat sick and cirit-birit at my car porch, the ammonia smell make entire living room (rented one) very "yucks", so I tested the sharp by turning it for 30 minutes, after out from bath, fresh air remain in my room |

QUOTE(JinXXX @ Nov 20 2011, 01:27 PM) Herm, I macam never see such purifier, another good thing for air purifier is you can remove the odors on your clothes/towel by putting it above the purifier for 30 minutes, this is what I saw from the instruction of the sharp purifier |

QUOTE(JinXXX @ Nov 20 2011, 05:53 PM) if there is an airpurifier that can double up as a "fan" then i dont need to have two devices circulating air in my room The air blow out from the air purifier is not strong, it is almost like a stand fan below speed 1, I guess ATM those manufacturer will not combine both of them, as they are reducing their margin perhaps ? |

QUOTE(Gary1981 @ Nov 21 2011, 08:15 PM) What parameter should I consider for air purifier? I notice there are various size and price. My main purpose is to eliminate dust and other features will be added advantage. I guess sizes of the purifier determine the area of location. What size to choose for living room and master bedroom. For sharp, I found price range frm rm450+ to rm2k..what actually the difference which I found expensive has more function button... Based on my survey, there are 2 types of air purifier,1)Purification without kill bacteria For this kind of air purifier, it is functioning by filtering the dust particle in your air but do not kill any bacteria which may cause odor problem. This kind of purifier do provide some moisturizing effect to your environment so that your room will not too dry and causing you have dry skin problem. It is good for aircon room, I saw one Panasonic model last time offer, RM200 PWP with Panasonic aircon, tot to buy one but saw without bacteria killing function, so end up give up. 2)Purification by killing bacteria For this kind of air purifier, anion will be produced to kill the bacteria, the killed bacteria will be turned to CO2 and expose to your environment. The sharp I am using is the lowest end model of air purifier under sharp in which it comes with bacteria killing features. |

QUOTE(ozak @ Nov 22 2011, 12:17 AM) I can't really see what is inside. It have a pladtic cover with some hold. I only can see like a cylinder shape wire mesh and a purple light glow in it. some shhhh.. sound coming out too. It do have some dust after sometime. icic, so how much does it cost? Added on November 22, 2011, 12:20 am Just outside the toilet. I don't close the door. Want to confirm is it really generate million of ion as it claim. Cause when it can generate that much of ion, it can quickly enough to cover any bad smell before you can smell. |

QUOTE(adrianjc @ Nov 22 2011, 11:16 AM) Hahahaha.... wah... so much info!! totally agreed, efficiency as good air circulator is very important, herm, mine one dont have the dusty issue yet, maybe too new? whats ur model bro adrianjc?I'm using Sharp at home and i notice that every couple of days the floor of my house will get dusty especially around the air purifier.... good thing that the air is getting cleaned... bad thing i have to sweep every alternate day. The main thing to take into account for me is the circulation rate... no point getting such a changgih unit if it can't circulate the air in the area its placed fast enough. |

QUOTE(ozak @ Nov 22 2011, 11:50 AM) That mean your sharp purifier is working. The ion will stick to the dust in the air. When it getting heavier, it will fall down. That is how the ion clean the air. how long you will be able to see the dust, maybe my units too new, used few weeks only, havent see any dust yet |

QUOTE(ozak @ Nov 22 2011, 04:02 PM) Yeap, ada, stated 2 years life span for the ion generator, actually just used for 2 weeks, didnt notice yet, or it may depends on your environment too I guess, because at my area, consider quite less dusts |

QUOTE(Mr.Muffin @ Mar 26 2012, 04:59 PM) Can you really feel the difference? Actually discussed this in the post belowhttps://forum.lowyat.net/topic/751278/+1433 During that time (last year Mid of Nov), this model is the latest (released after 3 days) then the local panasonic distributor ask me to wait and see the new model |
