Need help here guys..... i clean(vaccum and moop) my room once a week but find dust on the floor the 2nd day after cleaning. Does the air purifier helps in reducing the dust? My budget is below rm500. Any recommendations? Does all air purifier filter needs to be changed? Or just clean it like the air cond filters?

I just bought Xiaomi Air Purifier 2S. Compare with the model 2, only difference are that it now uses a laser sensor. I think version 2 was using infra red? The other difference is that it now has a OLED display screen - got PM2.5 readouts, Temp and Humidity

You can connect this air purifier to Mi Home app and if you got the Mi Gateway, you can set some automation rules like if air quality goes above this amount turn on the filter etc. Yes it works even when it is not turned on. You can also set it to notify you on your smartphone

My previous air purifiers, I turn them on and set the timer, that’s it, without knowing if I need air purification or not

There are 3 types of replacement filters - Economy, Anti-Bac and Enhanced. All has 3 stages of filtration which includes charcoal and HEPA. They cost around 130 to 150. It comes with 2 filters with HEPA/antibacterial & activated carbon/cold catalyst layer purposes. Sterlize & Anion features on HAP40 need turn manually, while HAP30 all auto (HAP40 & HAP30 just need switch on, the fan speed from 3 down to 2 then 1 automatically according to air quality)

much cheaper than xiaomi + local 3 years warranty, 2 filters in 1 set replacement also much cheaper, although I don't really like the khind gold color 

The humidifier has fan speed 1, 2, 3 as well. While HAP40 working, if u try move the unit it will power off automatically, probably safety feature with the water tank.

Both timer feature I din't use, should be quite standard
Gimmick or air really purified? My wife said her sensitive nose felt big different before & after, it does help up a lots.

about the filter replacement from Khind messenger customer replied, need to order from Khind store department 03-7839 2098/2083 or spare part from Khind service centre in Bukit Jelutong, Shah Alam.

For dust reduction effectively , need to seek for the HEPA the air purifier used and also the third party certificate the air purifier get, most of the cheap air purifier does not get effective on dust reduction.
