So you use your Note as a flashing device, with your SGS as your phone? You don't expect others to follow suit with this "use one phone, flash the other" mentality, do you?

Samsung should've be grateful that they have someone like you who troubleshoot and do ROM updates on their behalf, and not getting paid to do so too! That is supposed to be their job , not the end user.

Unless your games are the simple games, restoring games back requires reinstallation and redownload of game data IIANM, especially high end ones from Gameloft, for example. Remember I said elements, not apps, so that 300 elements needs to be restored back and in working order. Last I check, a restore from a backup isn't entirely foolproof, there will be elements that require re-setting and, if one has lots of services like those, it is not desirable. Flash 10 times, set those back 10 times? 
I see the same thing being done in XDA forums, but the custom ROM creator always posts what's new/updated/fixed in that ROM he created and it's up to the end-user to evaluate whether it's enough trouble to download/flash/wipe his device to get to those features updated/bug fixed. My point is, it is always DOCUMENTED, you don't have to try each and every one of them to confirm the changelogs.

Bottom line is, it's a phone, not an EEPROM chip for you to download strings of code into and see how it works. I personally wouldn't buy an EEPROM chip worth RM2k to program on, unless I see some beneficial reason to do so (programming for an app, testing applications for sale, etc). I don't work for free.
