Hi guys,

I am an existing Celcom mobile subscriber & intend to stay with Celcom. I am slowly being "poisoned" by all the good things u guys say abt Note, so am considering of upgrading to the contract plan to get it.

Some questions on this:
1) When you upgrade from existing plan to the contract, do you still need to pay the upfront payment of RM300 to get the phone? Any additional charges?
2) Any idea whether there is 0% installment plan from Celcom?
3) For the Blue Cube in Ikano, do you get the FOC flip case with Note?

Got it from Celcom Blue Cube, Pavilion, contract 12mths with RM88 plan. GNote=RM1818 with FOC flip cover.

1) To set a notification ringtone for messaging, open Messaging, then at its Menu, select Settings. Scroll all the way down and u will see Select Ringtone.

2) For other apps, usually they will have their own setting for notification, Example in Whatsapp, go to its Menu and u will see Message Notifications and Group Notifications where you can select your ringtone.

I did the same rooting. No problem with my wifi so far.
