Everytime I play with the demo unit, I feel like buying it
I'm still a little worried that it might be too big to be convenient.

QUOTE(blunderboy @ Nov 17 2011, 04:08 PM) I bought it together with the phone... PWP for 40... The sell it at 56 if I'm not mistaken... Kinda expensive for a generic brand... but I don't like my screen naked... Just close my eyes and bought it... Haha, ya me too, I usually just simply buy SP immediately after buying phone, don't really care about price Added on November 17, 2011, 4:25 pm QUOTE(xinghuei @ Nov 17 2011, 11:23 AM) Good review by GSMArena, TS can add into 1st page. Tks Hmm... this review, on page 10, says battery life is bad when it comes to surfing.http://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_galaxy_not...-review-676.php Stock browser use up to 3.5 hours max. Third-party browsers like Dolphin 4 hours max only. Anyone tested extended surfing hours yet? This post has been edited by aberrant80: Nov 17 2011, 04:25 PM |

QUOTE(uniquexme @ Nov 22 2011, 10:59 AM) i also noticed problems when making phone call, almost every calls i made, the other party will hear nothing after few mins and i have to call again. this happen to my fren note as well. seems that this Note is still not stable as iOS yet. You mean as stable as the iPhone 4S battery drain problem? But you're comparing the wrong things la. You either compare Note to iPhone, or you compare Android to iOS - u don't compare hardware to software... This lag problem seems very bad... I'm interested to hear more from other Note users who haven't flashed their unit yet. Since those who flashed to 2.3.6 didn't report lag problems, maybe it's caused by Samsung's stock ROM. QUOTE(benny888 @ Nov 22 2011, 11:17 AM) The way she holds the phone seems a bit unnatural right? Isn't it more natural and a better grip to hold it closer to the middle instead of the bottom of the phone? This post has been edited by aberrant80: Nov 22 2011, 01:33 PM |

QUOTE(kevinboey86 @ Nov 23 2011, 02:27 PM) hi guys can i ask when you open the battery app you can see those unwanted apps running in the background such as talk box, email , social hub, radio.......how to permanently remove it? cause it keep running in the background even i didnt start those programs Doesn't really matter. Android is different from Windows. Loaded into memory doesn't mean they're running. For apps like the email app, just turn off auto-update/auto-sync. |

QUOTE(mydragoon @ Nov 23 2011, 02:40 PM) sorry... but you're sure about the above? i consider myself a newbie when it comes to android. any further reading (URL) in regards to the above is welcomed. wanna read and understand the internal workings of android. Android memory/task management is the first thing that Windows users (especially Windows Mobile) gets confused about. Granted, earlier versions of Android have more noticeable memory issues that the newer versions.I googled a bit and you can read about pros and cons of killing unwanted apps and both sides of the debate: http://mobworld.wordpress.com/2010/07/05/m...ent-in-android/ http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=678205 http://geekfor.me/faq/you-shouldnt-be-usin...r-with-android/ http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/htc-droid-incred...rs-not-bad.html http://geekfor.me/faq/you-shouldnt-be-usin...r-with-android/ http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1083185 http://www.tested.com/news/android-task-ki...d-be-doing/923/ For me, the conclusion is this: Unless my phone starts to become very unresponsive, I don't bother killing/closing any apps. |
