If you're too worried about warranty then i advice you DON'T root you phone coz whatever you try to do/cover after that (unroot or even reflash official firmware) Samsung technician have a way to check whether your phone had been rooted or not.

The flip case front cover can be flipped whole over to the back of the phone without problem if you want to answer a call in a normal way :-)

If you used Zergrush exploit to root you can use it back with script to unroot
If you have root using others, just flash back stock ROM to unroot

Nope..you can't get your old SMS back. Kaput..gone forever unless you did a backup before that.
For future..use 'SMS Backup and Restore' free app from market to backup you sms

Anybody try the usb tethering. I can not make it to work. Wifi hotspot is working OK. Last time when I use Dell Streak is easy and working.

Sigh.. I'll ask this again,

Guys, anyone know if I just copy my current 16GB SD to the 32GB using the PC will copy everything including whatever hidden files? I don't want to interrupt the Note's "fine tuned" status in any way.
Is there a software that can copy the exact image of its contents to another card?

if there is an android system partition at the internal SD storage then NO, the hidden android file will not be copied over.

Just curious, why do you want to do this? to make a backup? if you want to make a system backup, i dun think simply copy the files to another SD card is the correct way.

Right no purpose unless you just wish to backup certain data files created by certain apps
Just use titanium backup and it will restore your apps n data that is in the internal as card
Most of time even you flash ROM the internal sd is intact. Even if it crash repartition it will restore its original state n one can just copy over the backup if you have a copy. No need concern about hidden files

Just bought my note ytd , if want to root need to update firmware to KK1 first ? mine is KJ6 now . First time using android , any noobie guide for rooting and what apps to dl ? Thanks smile.gif
