Install free app Font Changer , download from market
Download the fonts from above link. After extract - copy it to /sdcard/.fontchanger
launch Font Changer and it will detect the new font ; tap and select it

finally rooted my device after 900000 tries.

everything was done using the same procedure as i first started.
only difference is the computer i used.

1st computer - Win7 64 bit desktop
2nd computer - Win7 32bit desktop
3rd computer - Win XP 64bit desktop
4th computer - Win Vista 32bit laptop
5th computer - Win7 32bit laptop
6th computer - Win7 64bit laptop  -----> success !

Not much choices of roms :

He uses his own kernel which is compatible with Chainfire CF root

I have tested 1, 2 and 3 and frankly I don't see any major differences in battery life. If you read XDA forums, opinions

are mixed - some said battery life is better while some said is worse. I'd say the HK ZSKK1 has a slightly better battery life
If you are still on KKI - try change to FM kernel 1.2 by  SHEEP  ( the reviews seems not bad ): http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1342807 . Flash it using Mobile Odin or through CWM app

Well, you could use a dark wallpaper, or solid black, turn down the brightness, turn off WiFi/3G when not using, don't play games, etc. But personally, I feel that when you do so, in the name of "longer battery life", you're not fulfilling the reason why you're getting the best-specced phone in the market so far. The only way to justify having the Note, is actually USING the Note as it should be, not hiding behind ugly wallpapers, low brightness or skimping on data allocations. You might as well use a Blackberry if that's the case.

The real battery life test is when that test includes what you routinely do in the first place and keep doing the same thing on the new device without compromising. Once the figures are in, then you temper your expectation and see how you could "give or take" on what you can/cannot do on the device. If there is too much compromises, then the device is not meant for you to you on your daily routine.

My personal advice? Do the same thing you do previously on your previous device, and see how much battery life you get. If it fell short, see what you can cut down without totally compromising your routine. Otherwise, IMO, get another battery or extended ones, or external battery power, period. OR sell the device, its battery life is too short for your usage.

There is a button on the S-Pen...hold the Button & Hold on the Screen. Cikcak...that's it.

so far the less buggy is the hk rom. sheep rom have some bugs

If you're trying to get additional download info, the model info is there. If you're planning to use Samsung Dive, all you need to do is sign in into your Samsung account in your Note, log into your Dive account and it will automatically detect your Note. You can edit your Note information (your phone number for example) inside the Dive website.

a) in a DOS command box, it mentioned i need to install the adb driver before start, what is adb driver? where to get it?

b) when i connect my phone to pc via usb cable, should i turn on the "connect USB storage".

c) what should i do now to root my NOTE?

Android sifus help, I have installed Go Launcher and the original galaxy note theme went missing. How do I restore back ?

I have first posted this question yesterday morning
but reveived no reply. After I reset my activesync
account, it worked for a day but failed to sync again at night.  When I tried to sync, the message "IRM is not supported" appeared.  Need to reset the activesync account again to resume activesync function.  My question : any other forum users faced the same problem or is this just my problem? Hope the forum sifus can help me with the answer.

rooted my note with zergrush method.. succeeded with only one try.. but after fer days got problem with my wifi connection.. if using laptop to connect ot wifi is ok.. but using note i cant surf the net even the note is connected with full bar.. anyone experiencing the same issue?..

true... similar to sgs2, i see similar comments about flashing, etc... like its an almost daily/ weekly activity. the phone gets flashed more often than being used as a phone... but i guess being flashed still means the phone is being used. only not as a phone... lol...

What about restoring apps? My last count on the number of apps and services I've backed up on TitaniumBackup is close to 300 elements, not to mention ebooks, PDFs, emails, SMSes, work files, and app save datas. To restore those will take time. If you leave your Note barebones with no apps, of course la flash/restore takes 5-10 minutes. Those who have finally decided to USE their devices instead of going flash-crazy, will have a hard and long time restoring their apps and files back in working order. Do you have nothing much installed on your Note?

Bottom line is, a line has to be drawn somewhere. I always like improved performance, but when custom ROMs appearing like mushroom after a rainy day, when do you stop flashing and start USING your Note?
