Agreed. It's refreshing to see a phone that has the power endurance like my old iPad 2, so much that I don't have to worry about running out of power while I'm outside.

The more u charge the battery, the better yr battery lyfe . . . my 1st charge lasted for 20 hours
But i jst dnt understand why sme users here have issue with battery

can I know how you guys use your note? I got mine for almost a week already.. but I feel the battery life quite weak.. usually last me less than 8 hours.. i dont make call/sms.. just watapps and fb most of the time..

wi-fi only version may be cannot but 3G version most likely can. But of course no one know when will the 3G version be released.

For android smartphones just do the usual stuffs.
Freeze bloatwares, set lower brightness, sync manually, disable 3G when not in use.
Or flash any custom ROM that might have good battery life.

why not take DiGi smartplan since you are already on DiGi.

Probably because the firmware installed on SME units is 'half baked'. I am also having a low battery life with my phone and I can feel that it is due to sluggish OS.

means that the battery can last for 2 days without using the gps and the wifi ?

I use mine with Maxis Unlimited data plan and have almost everything using data on and it lasts me about 1.75 days when I am stationery at one location. The moment I travel to another state then it drops to about 1.25days. The search for data I guess uses up its juice.

can I know you use which app to freeze? paid titanium? or other apps? if possible those do not require root one..

In my case, I use mine as a consumer device, consuming audio and video more than anything else. Naturally when think that way, you're gonna be wondering how come I am not worrying about the battery life, especially when it comes to watching movie or listening to songs, or playing games. I always carry with me the Just Mobile Gum Plus external battery if I'm travelling light, or the Hyperjuice if I'm carrying my MacBook Air with me. Both eliminates any worry of running out of power while outside. Gum Plus is small enough to skip into the jeans pocket and carries 4 charges while the Hyperjuice itself is an extended slim profile battery for the MacBook Air, so you can imagine how much power it has.

Even if you want a usage profile under the Note's own battery, I still have about 30% battery when I reach home. Twitter, Facebook, surfing, playing music with screen off, light gaming, an episode of TV show, YouTube, with internet connection provided by YES4G when able, and Celcom3G otherwise.

You had to have root first in order to use Titanium Backup. The Pro one can be used to freeze any apps including phone system apps.

how many charge/discharge cycle you have done? Optimum battery life will only achieve after 3-4 complete charge and complete discharge cycle. I do this for every phones i had. Charge to full 100%, for the first time, keep charging it even after it reaches 100% for another 1-2 hours. Then use it until it full discharge and auto off. Repeat this cycle 3-4 times and the battery life will become better and better.

Part of the reason is to achieve the optimum battery life, part of the reason is to "calibrate" or "condition" the battery so that the battery level give the correct reading. For new battery, normally you will find the battery reading not accurate. For certain range of battery life, the battery level dropping very fast, for another range, the battery seems lasts longer.

Some will disagree on the above procedure or doubt its effectiveness but i will just continue doing this.
