Got the not so cheap cut throat price diamond sp...bought for RM40...it is clear when compared with the previous free matte sp that i got when i bought the note.
The sp looks really cleear and smooth while swiping. However it does come with a glaring flaw in terms of really tiny dots which suppose to look like diamonds hence, the name diamond sp. These dots somewhat affect your viewing though. Thinking of removing this sp and leave the screen naked since got the free flip case.
Reason I am replying to ur thread is that I wanna know whether you were using the flip case or not and what is ur opinion in leaving yhe screen naked without the screen protector. Will using the flip case somewhat protect the screen? Thanks in advance.
I switch between the back cover with flip and without depending on mood, now that I have the SGP SP, I can use the one without the flip cover at the front. Personally, I feel that the flip cover front is psychological. You felt safe that it covers the front but the way it sways about when taken out because it is not latched to anything doesn't protect the screen from any scratches, just a "perceived" peace of mind. I'm still gonna hang on to my flip cover case, but not relying on it to provide any scratch protection. That is the job for a proper screen protector and a pouch. You can go commando and go naked all the way, but the way I deal with my gadgets, they need to be relatively pristine and look relatively okay during their yearly sale later, hence the effort to protect them. But for God sake, please don't go for any leather cases that cling to the phone and make it look fat. Even while I'm using iPad I shake my head in disappointment at fat leather cases that envelops the iPad and makes the originally thin iPad becomes a ChinaPad fattie. Design aesthetics is one of the reason you're attracted to the device in the first place wasn't it? Don't spoil it by wrapping it in dead animal skin.
