Where abouts in Woodlands do you stop? it is next to the Woodlands MRT? I work at Sembawang...so Woodlands is only a MRT ride for me. BTW, what coach company that you use?

As for the 02 prefix for Singapore, as I know it, its historical when S'pore was part of M'sia. All states have a prefix, like Selangor, 03; Perak, 05; etc.
+65 is the international dail code like +60 for M'sia.
*
Yes...u could still dial to singapore via 02 prefix rather than +65....calling rates will be cheaper on the 02

HiHi,

I recently get an interview opportunity.

Just a question if I working at  Kaki Bukit Technopark and it require work on shift.

1)which is the best suitable location for me to stay?

2)Since I need work on shift then i might need walk from my home(rent room) to Technopark.

3) Since I work on shift is it very difficult for me rent a room? (normally not convenient for house owner)

4)How much should I demand?,  (I am degree holder and with 6 years + work in IT line). They offer me L3/L4 position

5)They offer me 24 month renewable contract, I had passed the technical interview and will interview by hiring manager this Friday.

Any one here work in technopark and work in shift?

My Malaysia basic Salary is around 4.5k++
*
It should be Kaki Bukit TECHpark.....u can look for a room around bedok reservoir/ubi/eunos areas...

just wondering
when we apply for PR, we have to get some kind of approval/chop from our current company right?
what if we sent our application, are we allowed to change company or there will be some complication etc?
*
Yes, you will need another letter from the new company because your EP/WP is attached to that new company...at the time of your PR submission. Plus that letter provided by your hiring company i think has a 'validity' period stated my MOM at the time of submission..that letter must not be like more than 30days old n etc.

Not too sure about during your application approval period, whether you can change job/company.

hello, if i change employer in less than 1 yr, do i need to re-apply the EP?

i read somewhere before that if less than 6 mths or 1 year, i do not need to re-apply.. just need to amend the employer information? is this true?

thanks...
*
It doesnt matter the duration..whether its 1 week/6months or 1 year...your EP states the employer company information that you are ONLY suppose to work with and no other. If you change, the new hiring company will have to re-apply your EP

Madness.

Why POSB ATM can only withdraw POSB money?

In Malaysia, Maybank ATM can withdraw Public Bank money or other banks money and all ATM are interchangeable.

Why Malaysia can do it but SG can't?
*
POSB/DBS users can interchange.....UOB ATM cards can withdraw money from OCBC ATM tellers as well..but not POSB/DBS...that's how it works here in SG
