The Companies Act 1965 and Employment Act 1955 are only meant for the local company to comply, they don't possess any right in regulating company and employees at
foreign country.
Thus, a Singaporean Company will follow their own law instead of contributing 12% into our EPF account as required by Malaysian government. They have similar fund call Central Provident Fund ("CPF") and the percentage (%) of contribution will depends on the status hold by the employees (Work Pass Employees, Permanent Resident, Citizen etc.) and number of years working in the Company.
