If Malaysian working in Singapore...did the Singapore employer paid 12 % to our EPF account and do we need deduct 11 % from our salary?is it compulsory? Added on December 11, 2011, 11:41 am QUOTE(seeker118 @ Dec 11 2011, 11:27 AM) I guess what he want to ask is : "Whether a Singapore Company pay EPF to it's Malaysian employees." ThanksThe Companies Act 1965 and Employment Act 1955 are only meant for the local company to comply, they don't possess any right in regulating company and employees at foreign country. Thus, a Singaporean Company will follow their own law instead of contributing 12% into our EPF account as required by Malaysian government. They have similar fund call Central Provident Fund ("CPF") and the percentage (%) of contribution will depends on the status hold by the employees (Work Pass Employees, Permanent Resident, Citizen etc.) and number of years working in the Company. HiHi,
I recently get an interview opportunity. Just a question if I working at Kaki Bukit Technopark and it require work on shift. 1)which is the best suitable location for me to stay? 2)Since I need work on shift then i might need walk from my home(rent room) to Technopark. 3) Since I work on shift is it very difficult for me rent a room? (normally not convenient for house owner) 4)How much should I demand?, (I am degree holder and with 6 years + work in IT line). They offer me L3/L4 position 5)They offer me 24 month renewable contract, I had passed the technical interview and will interview by hiring manager this Friday. Any one here work in technopark and work in shift? My Malaysia basic Salary is around 4.5k++ This post has been edited by ntick: Dec 14 2011, 02:02 AM |
