Not necessary contract worker less job security than permanent.
Permanent staff = termination notice 1-3 months.
Contract staff = cannot terminate u during the contract period, unless they compensate u.

So in that sense contract staff give u more certainty.

Anyway, the idea of contract staff higher pay than permanent staff only works during good economic times, and maybe a thing in the past

Contract staff is on the chopping board due to their cost, not because they are contract staff. ANd cost is higher because they r contract staff. An irony

the place is always crowded ! If dining there is call rich then there is no poor ppl in Sg.
No permanent job. Currently work as petrol kiosk attendance under contract. A lot of forumers bumped into me while topping up petrol.

In Singapore, I think it will be good to always demand black and white.  Maybe your colleague know how to mengampu the boss leh.

it's ok. we have CHEERS too. You could pick up newspapers, magazines, pastries, drinks and some simple household items as well. We also have DBS atm and AXS machines.

been to their Interview at HarbourFront Tower and met a friendly young HR lady liaising with me using malaysian style mandarin.we had good conversation using mandarin. lots of pretty ladies at their offices. pretty interesting exprience.

nah, i din get it. lots of pretty ladies on the HR floor...speaking to handsome men, i think mostly on engineering side lol and i din noticed much.
