lately AA quite strict on the 7kg hand carry, web check in and service is not exactly is there

there was a mornin i reach lcct to do the web check in using my phone, all machine was down, i went to the counter and bang table to resolve it.  but problem is not everybody so thick skin, i saw this gal searching high and low for other available machine and none is exist, almost departing time already and morning q is quite heavy  sweat.gif

So they did check the bag's weight to be exactly 7kg also ? It must be a big hassle for everyone to start removing items from their bag.. I think many would easily packed over 7kg in the hand carry bags...

Yes, after you check-in luggage, AA may ask you to put your hand-luggage onto the belt to weigh it.

Notebook bag, they also ask you open to show a notebook inside, but more lenient on the weight wink.gif provided the stuff inside "looks related", like mouse, adapter, cables, charger, wink.gif

If other bag, very strict on 7kg.

Females handbag - if big, they also ask to weigh it. e.g. bigger than a pack of pagoda peanuts (large).

yesterday i took AA's 6.25am flight. On the web check in form it clearly states "baggage drop counter open 3.30am to 5.30am." Reached T1 at 4.25am, had to wait for the AA people to slowly and happily finish their coffee & sit down at their booths, they only opened baggage drop at 4.50am. Pity the angmoh and singaporean in front of me who were there since 3.45!

At the baggage drop coutner they will ask you to put your hand luggage on the belt. i guess they weigh it that time.

It's usual at LCCT KL here. They only open the check-in luggage counter around 30-40 min before gate-open/departure.

Normally, if 7am flight, just reach there 6am.
Else reach there 5:30am, go breakfast, then only check-in luggage at 6-6:20am.
Reach gate by 6:45am still alright. No need kiasu, as all have seating number already, except some idiots who will put their cabin luggage in front and not at their own seat (overhead).

Hey, I have just received an invitation of interview at singapore.
The venue of interview is located at mcdonalds.
I felt that it is very weird.
Did anyone tried before?
Should I go?
Thank for everyone's advice.

Since you're interviewing to be a McDonald's crew member, that's not so weird lah.

Oic. If that's the case, I only know of 2 situations where they want to hold interview at McDonald's. Both are very dangerous situations. But you shouldn't worry, because based on what you have described about your job and that company, it will not fall under those situations.

this is new. an 'open concept' interview maybe ? I think they always do that in US for high position like CEO/COO/CFO ....

Haven't you read about Singaporeans rejecting jobs because the workplaces were situated in "ulu" places like Tuas?

Prior to landing my job, I attended interviews with 3 MNCs and the interview locations were 1st MNC's storeroom, a Starbucks-styled coffee bistro near the 2nd MNC in town, and one of the 3rd MNC's meeting rooms.

Why wouldn't you attend the interview anyway? If ego is a limiting factor, I humbly suggest getting rid of it.
