No.
I don't feel proud of my english.

I hammer coz this guy is suppose to work in a bank not some techincal or programming job where english is not as important (but still important).
If you cannot even write a decent sentence in a english how are you going to write documents, reports, etc? Do you think any bank in Singapore would want somebody who cannot write decent english? You may think I am harsh but I can 100% assure you that any banks looking at your sentence will dump/delete your CV in 3 seconds. I know, coz I do that regularly. Call it filtering the crap.
*
I fully agreed with this. Banking is a serious profession and a good command of English is a must.

Interview that time after confirmed, increase $100, then when I'm confirmed, they say confirmed $25 only! Then always bias towards me even I'm the one working, lady boss always say I'm not working, instead the girl that keep SMS, get the credit, they say she is better than me. WTH
Ya I know. I edi went to that thread.

working life is like that most of the times. It's never final until you got it in black and white.

You do realise that the mods just momentarily banned this thread for /k posts like the one above, right?
*
nope, not banned, just closed momentary for evaluation. It's back for business as usual. We could do with a better topic though, like "Life in Singapore", which covers everything but primary on jobs (since we are under Jobs & Careers main folder)
