i might get one in beta stage, test and compare with several dap i have in hand, RM125 so good price, but which DUNU leh u gonna give?

thats what we dunno yet, and im negotiating with hongrui for 1 unit, so i can compare with ipod and c30, which both i have

I'm gonna be LYN's "lab rat" and get one, once i get it, review will come after the DAP is @ optimum level

there are 2 types of volume (kinki labels) "super volume and HiFi volume, which i think is gain in another term
i tuned off bass boost and all those audio cosmetics, and attached to MS1i, and has very nice soundstage i never expect of MS1i, bass is decent with volume, vocals are very clear and i can listen to their words, treble is mild and just enough to be heard, no clipping and hisses, such gooding

interface does look C30, but with their own spice of stuff

the setting menu has these "specials"
1. sound -> EQ menu and SRS menu
2. volume mode -> Super mode and HiFi mode
3. BassMax9723 (i suppose is BassBosst hardware config)

make sure you do, and after going back to my regular desktop, i can say x19HD sounds like cMoyBB, want a feel can start from there, but do note some variations of sound fx

(not boomy) when the music asks for it. hardware bass boost is very good, and need not software activation, but turning BassMax9723 on takes it to yet another level, the whole thing is godly! okay i must stop describing it, or else will be an SPM paper exam already

i quite like it, but rather have SRS disabled, still sounds artificial, but BB turned on is not bad

well, all the power makes me feel like Hulk wearing 2 Behringers on my ears, sounds huge and deep

techie cause the jargon inside the menu will make ppl confuse

the navigation arrow made me confuse for a while, until i understand why the up arrow is previous track and down arrow is next track, it's "上一首 and 下一首"

c30 and x19hd, i both have, so based on what i know:

c30 - 3 line display; x19hd - 4 line
c30 - less fancy functionality; x19hd - hardware bass boost, 2 gains
c30 - buggy firmware all over; x19hd - only minor annoyances, no bugs yet

since it is hardware boosted, hardly can hear any clipping or modification to the sound sig, just the bass got deeper and clearer. unlike c30's BBE, it changes the sound sig quite a lot
x19hd also has srs, which means they can (attempt) to restore (some) sound quality to bad recordings or poorly encoded media files

ClieOS says that x19hd is not up to his preference, alaa~~ good guy no like x19hd..
