Hi guys, Appreciate some help here.
I need to do an ownership transfer for an old car of mine..
The problem is this.
1) The reg card states the "tuntutan hak milik" by the finance company
2) The previous owner has settled the finance a long time ago but has not collected the settlement letter/ cancelled the tuntutan hakmilik.
3) He tried getting it from Hong Leong Bank but was given the run around.
My question is,
1) How can I proceed to transfer the ownership with out the settlement letter?
2) is there any other way for the owner to cancel the tuntutan hakmilik by the finance company?
Appreciate some help guys.
Thanks.
nowadays jpj no longer use a letter from the finance company.. its all online already and they call it e-batal... its simple just walk in to any jpj office and check if the finance company have done it online or not... if the jpj said not done then get back to the finance company and ask them to do it...I need to do an ownership transfer for an old car of mine..
