Hi, I am buying a new car, loan from banker already approve. Salesman says he was unable to buy the car number plate i requested.

I would like to try to buy the number myself coming Monday at JPJ. May I know what is the procedure?
I willing to pay a little higher (but less than 500) for nice number or the number i want.

Any sifu can give some tips?
