do u peeps do panel lining pre or post assembly?
i do it pre assembly, however, some parts will be covered up..feel like a waste of ink but if panel lining it after assembly will render some parts inaccessible wo ><
advice pls

more like for fine art..but i bought it for the thinness of the lead allowing me to do panel lining..and it's way easier to remove and not as smudgy as both water and oil based panel lining pens..

exactly! in fact bandai's black gundam marker is thicker and is oil based so mistakes are harder to clean

i haf copic as well but sometimes it isnt thin enuf so i use the mechanical pencil though it's thicker but the lead is soft and can be sharpen (by pressing it into the panel line) to be used in very very thin lines

so the mech pencil just uswe normal lead and just sharpen it using blade? the lead will stick on the plactic surface?
*
nope..you'll have to find the lead that fits smile.gif my mech pencil is a 0.3mm pencil so i haf to find 0.3mm lead..quite easily found as it's usually sold along separately with the pencil..
as you've seen, it sticks smile.gif but im not that sure if it sticks after coating..never tried xD

i agree that the copic is a very good pen too..it's fine head and the ink is water based so mistakes are easily removed and when u panel line fine lines, the smudge can be wiped off very easily with no marks..but i use till the tip big d xD so i prefer using my mech pen now..unless got big big spots where it's not feasible to use a mech pen then i'll bring in the big gun (bandai gm02)..
