It's good to know that this hobby is getting more and more recognition nowadays. It used to be such a cliche pastime back in the days, say a decade ago, when you'd be scoffed upon if you mention you like gunpla.

A few questions though;

Can the HGUC Sinanju carry the bazooka over its shoulders? Or will the bulky armour and huge rear thrusters get in the way of posing? And of course, given the lack of mobility of the wrist joint, will it be able to grasp onto bazooka handle properly?

thanks dude... looks like it has the same problems with the MG version.

This Zaku Sniper will look weird with the commander antenna positioned off-centre due to the gap which allows the monoeye to slide upwards.

Nice Marasai with Gathbley's rifle/lance weapon instead of the puny stock beam rifle (pistol more like it)...

And rumours say there'll be an MG Aegis? Holy shit awesome... although with the transformation mechanism in place it'll be flimsy as hell.

Strictly speaking,

ver Ka Banshee:
- Smaller yellow part on the collar (although it appears grey in Destroy mode)
- Purple eyeshadow and chin
- Same armaments as the Unicorn
- The golden 'eyebrow' is twice as long

OVA Banshee:
- Huge yellow collar with tiny spikes on the front part
- Gold eyeshadow and chin
- Beam VN/BS bullshit, i.e. awkward-looking V-fin beam launcher + boxing glove equipped with fancy fangs.
- The golden eyebrow is smaller to accommodate the head vulcans.

It's hard to say whether the final battle version will come with golden V-fin/horn or not as promo pictures such as these are often painted models.

The Unicorn has green eyes and main camera. Banshee's are red.

I think you're probably referring to the Final Battle Banshee where everything turns "green", where in the novel the "green" psychoframe is actually described as rainbow coloured. Remember that yellowish-green aurora that pulled Axis away from Earth in CCA? That should be it, although it is visually depicted as bluish-green in the novel art and the MG kits follow this quite accurately.



From what we've seen so far, the different variations and labelling of UC kits are:
Unicorn ver Ka - novel version, no vulcans, crap knee joints, pink beam sabres
Unicorn ver Ka Titanium finish - different paint job
Unicorn ver OVA - head vulcans + blue beam sabres, slightly better knees
FA Unicorn ver Ka - misleading nomenclature as it's actually a ver OVA Unicorn with the additional arsenal and green psychoframe
Banshee ver OVA - OVA version Banshee with fin funnel beam launcher + claw
Banshee Final Battle - Green psychoframe Banshee without OVA weapons

Out of all these variations, I think the Banshee OVA would be the best pick since 1) Banshee looks much more badass 2) You'll probably get the usual RX-0 weapons in additional to the OVA ones, more goodies = more fun

Now the interesting possibilities...
1) 1/48 Banshee head action base. Likely to happen since Unicorn and Sinanju already have them
2) FA Banshee? I'd hate to see this to be honest, since the FA setup is a makeshift configuration by the crew on Nahal Argama. EFSF shouldn't copy this design, but the OVA tends to change a lot of things from the novel so who knows?
3) For HGUC... almost every unit that made a cameo is going to be released in HGUC form... Juagg, Nemo... The new units that will be appearing the EP5 and 6 will definitely be released - Ankusha (meh), Rozen Zulu (another bigass HGUC), Jesta Cannon (guns guns guns !!), Hizack Custom (oooo the long barrel rifle...)

I'd be looking out for a Capule though...

And fck MG Duel is looking so good... and with the imminent release of MG Aegis some time down the road... Bandai, just take my money... just take all of them !

Yeah you're right about the FA Unicorn, it does have the ver Ka's head that lacks vulcans. The calves are from the OVA version with holes...

Not surprised with the armaments... it's the same as the Unicorn's.

I've no idea what "square gold-plated luxury finish bla bla" means... Yellow/gold parts that can be seen so far are the V-fin and the leg vents, and I doubt they'll be plated; most likely extra-finish gold like the Strike Freedom.

Unless... the whole thing looks like the Gold Frame Amatsu, i.e. glossy black armour with bling bling gold plated frame. Fingerprint magnet...

Don't think there is... both HGUC Unicorn and Banshee comes with pink sabres, and only in Unicorn mode.
Having said that, the Banshee will look better with yellow beams... Maybe can pinjam from the Kampfer..

The claw has gotta be one of the most ridiculous gundam weapons ever. The claws do not seem wide enough to grab onto any MS's torso, while the hand simply gets in the way of anything that the claws should be grasping.

In EP1 we've seen how the Unicorn is able to crush enemy's fists with its original hands... even Kshatriya's tiny mechanical arms on the wing binders are strong enough to pin down the Unicorn. So there's no actual need for the claw.

I just realised something from the MG Duel prototype pictures,



Note that there hasn't been any previews of the Duel carrying its bazooka? Bandai tends not to show off stuff that the gunpla cannot do in these sneak peek pictures; remember how the MG Unicorn was never shown to bend its knees?

And looking at how the bazooka is designed and the sheer bulk of both shoulders in Assaultshroud mode, there's no freaking way it's going to be able to carry the bazooka on its shoulders.

MG Aegis's lineart sketch looks fcked up, so does the Blitz's. The Buster on the other hand looks sweet.

Aegis's shoulders are oversized, and I would be very interested to see how they would design the shoulders - most likely it'll lack the forward/backward swing as the whole upper limb of the sotong mode needs to be secured within the torso. Blitz should be the one that has oversized spiky shoulders and backpack. Then again they are just sketches for the time being.

Nope... The bazooka was supposed to be assigned to the Duel, but Yzak never got hold of it when he stole the unit.

It's probably retconned information from the Astray side stories as the writers attempt to link Gold Frame and its missing arm to the events that led to it.

It's good that Bandai decided to throw in the bazooka, if the Duel can't use it then some other gunpla can. When it comes to accessories, more is always better.

I'm actually more interested in the pink cutesy tank than the RG Freedom. Bad decision by Bandai to split the wings; the Freedom should have 5 fins on each side; yet the way the RG's wings split at the black and blue pieces makes it look as if it is broken.

And just when you thought the Nightingale's huge phallus was ridiculous, the Guncannon Detector takes it up to another level...
