yup. pretty much so. but MSIA's proportions are true to its original design, while RDs looks a lot more sleek.
nice one thumbup.gif

but the diorama seems a bit out of scale.. looks like 1/100th scale models fits better imo sweat.gif

The mecha bases fits both 1/144 and 1/100 brows.gif

Which spray is better for spraying the gold parts of Strike freedom to make them shiny? Any recommendations besides air brush?

I'm aware of that.. the base itself looks ok already, but those "stairs" looks a bit big for a 1/144 sweat.gif

why not try to paint on your next kit? thumbup.gif painting, contrarily to popular belief is not as difficult as you think. test out with a cheapo HG, of even FG. post pictures of your progress on the wip thread, and there will be people to comment and you can improve gradually.

can always start out with industrial sprays too, if budget is a concern..

i donno, whenever i ask people on the tools i need to paint...i get a super long list that is too confusing for me until i lost the motivation to paint. :T so all my gundam kits now are straight build...though i m keeping 1 HG, and the MC Hi-V to paint la

its not as complicated as you'd imagine. lets say you wanna paint a rx 78. all you need is the 5 colors. white, blue, red, yellow and grey.

spray cans if you want, is fine. the most important thing is you start, and later you can improve and get more tools.
