Guys,

Need advise, my SA offer me to add the windscreen insu, need to top up around rm350-400 for that, and also if I want to EWP need to top-up rm400 for extra 2 years more totalling 5yrs warranty.

Izzit worth it? Thanks
*
very much depends on yourself, if u travel a lot then i say better inso ur windscreen, if it's 2.0 , very expensive to change bcuz of the sensor, if it's 1.8 protong windscreen, quality bad, my car a lor of stone chips already.

as for EWP, if u thinking of modding forget about it, unless u going to drive stock till the end then go for it..

just my 2cents

Extra Warranty Protection

This EWP was offered back few month ago free of charge.
"as for EWP, if u thinking of modding forget about it, unless u going to drive stock till the end then go for it.."

more concern if anything happened to the engine or GB after the warranty period, is it a good bargain with the top-up of rm400?

Thanks
*
like i mention , if u going to modify your car, it basically VOIDS your warranty, give u 10 years warranty also no use.

but if you are NOT going to modify your car, then by all means take it, hope this helps

I have not really compared in detailed but we did compare mine with Jack's china HU, we find that flyaudio has sharper LCD image, tilted in an angle that is still viewable under the sun, faster response..another plus point is the company offers local warranty, repair and servicing, unlike those from china which some small timers import in the stock to sell do not really offer great after sales support, Jack's HU has a few issues earlier in the year, i can't remember what it was maybe he can story you later..mine is still problem free (touch wood),

If we have the chance to meet I can let you compare and decide for yourself
*
even so, rm3k is way out of my budget ler...lol...get a sony/kenwood/pioneer/jvc all oso rm2k range can get lor....
anyways thanks for the info...i'm not so particular about SQ anyways, got GPS can play music good enuff la...not like we want go competition or anything

yup, thats the only issue la , plug and play, aftermarket brand hard to get plug & play, but OEM just PnP.

got fella wanna sell his CHINA OEM HU for rm1100 with GPS and 6month warranty..worth buying ???

not worried bout SQ, cuz going to add amp and change speaker and woofer.....

I think Simota would be quite compareable with K&N. However you need to know if it has cleaning kit and if any shops offers to clean simota. We know a few places to clean K&N and it does have cleaning kit for sale for those wanna DIY.
*
care to share the recommended K&N cleaning shops ?
